24.01.2022 Hi Everyone. The Augusta Gun Club will resuming shooting on the 14th of June as per the WACTA calendar. There will be safety and hygeine measures in place to ensure compliance with COVID laws.

19.01.2022 It starting to feel a lot like Hillview. There's Pav in the oven and March Flies in the air. The best place to be this weekend is overlooking the beautiful town of Augusta whilst blowing up stuff with shotguns. This year I thought i'd try and speed up the nomination process by posting the Hillview Challenge Gradesheet below. It averages your percentages of your last 3 scores to attain your grade. While this version only has 3 years of scores on it, the expanded version has ...scores from more than a decade ago. That way you can miss a few Hillviews and we will still have your grade. 15.01.2022 Well what a huge success!!! Hillview 2020 was our best ever. We had 150 shooters on Saturday, 154 on Sunday. 166 different shooters competed over the weekend...and it was a beauty. Huge thanks to everyone who has anything to do with this event, what a phenomenon it has become. Please check out some of the weekends pics and Winner results. 13.01.2022 Zone 6 Skeet is coming up real soon. 9:30 Sunday 16th Feb. Get your club Teams organised for a fantastic day. It’s a chance to get selected in the Zone 6 tea...m and some quality practice prior to the State Skeet Titles. We also have our 100 Skeet Sponsored by Sportsmarine on Saturday the 22nd. 2 weekends, 200 targets, 2 great reasons for some great fun. The shoot is open to all and we would love to see as many that can make it as possible. Hoping to see some good representation from all off our Clubs. 11.01.2022 Another great weekend of shooting the Augusta Gun Club. We hosted the zone six 5 stand on Saturday. The winner was Phil House with 44 out of 50. Thank you to everyone who came and supported the zone. Then on Sunday we had the 100 Target Cole Thompson Field shoot. 43 shooters competed in brilliant conditions. Winners Overall Phil House ... 10.01.2022 Hey guys only 7 days to go until the Hillview Challenge 2019. - How's this for an update, we have hired 3 golf buggies for our more experienced shooters this year to help get them around the course. Our own Ross Porter, pictured below, used one last year with great success and so we would like to keep him out there for as many years as possible. So if you or anyone you know is considering not shooting because of the course terrain then let us know and we'll hook you up.... - In other news the sashes have arrived and the Harvey/Augusta aggregate sash is a beauty. So everyone who was at Harvey Sporting Clays for the Beretta weekend come and have a go at claiming it. Also if anyone has Ken Patterson's phone number please PM me or call him and let him know there's a golf buggy with his name on it. Cheers

08.01.2022 Hey Guys just a reminder that the Harvey Sporting Clays annual Beretta Shoot is on next weekend. There is a combined Highgun between the Harvey Shoot and the Hillview Challenge. There is a prize and sash for the highest aggregate score for their 150 and and ours. If you're looking for a great shoot that is similar to ours then this one is for you ;)
