24.01.2022 Augusta Community Resource Centre to close effective 4pm today Tuesday 24th March 2020 As you are all aware Australia has entered into uncharted territory and we are writing to you in what are trying and unprecedented times for all. The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a decision which we believe follows Government and Health advice and regulations and is a priority for the safety and well being of all in our Community. Effective as of 4pm today (Tuesday 24th ...March 2020) the Augusta CRC will be closing and ceasing to deliver non-essential public facing services. We will still be manning the phones with calls being diverted to staff mobiles. We will do all we can to assist with any urgent or immediate inquiries. The radio station will continue to run and will provide ongoing updates and community announcements. The Pelican Post will continue publication in providing information and community news. We are currently working closely with the Shire and other services to provide support to our community via other options and will keep you updated with these. Regrettably all upcoming events, education sessions and workshops are cancelled or postponed. These decisions have not been made lightly however the safety of our staff, volunteers and community is our priority. We want to reassure you that while working remotely, we are committed to doing all we can to ensure the health of all and the ongoing future of the CRC. Looking out for each other and caring for our neighbours is what Augusta does best so please continue with this kindness and support. Carmel Norris Manager
