10.01.2022 Meet Lili... the face behind August Bloom. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, playing with our family sausage dog Lulu, crocheting and doing anything crafty so, you could say I’m 23 going on 80. But I wasn’t always a nanna! As a teenager I was sporty and thought I’d study to be a personal trainer or physiotherapist. You can imagine my surprise when I did high school work experience at a local florist and quickly fell in love with it. The PT and physio plans quickly went... out the window and I started working afternoons and weekends, before accepting a traineeship. Since then, I’ve adored working with fresh flowers, but always felt a bit sad that they couldn’t last forever. Then I received the most thoughtful gift from my boyfriend’s grandmother a flower press. I started my dried flower collection and soon began creating artworks so more people could enjoy their everlasting beauty. After gaining wonderful experience working in local floral studios, it was time to start my own journey. I’m so excited to share August Bloom with you and can’t wait for you to visit and see what’s on offer. Hello Copy Co

I was so extremely overwhelmed with all the support and love I received, you are all amazing! I created this space for me to work and showcase everything that I love, it warms my heart that you all love it just as much as I do. Thank you so so much to everyone who came by

04.01.2022 I have been busting to share these beautiful photos... Josie recently celebrated her school formal and her lovely father came in to pick her up a floral corsage. He told us how he had been spending his day taking his daughter to all her appointments to get her hair and makeup done and how he can’t believe how grown up she is. Josies father recounted the time when she was a baby and she fit right in the palm of his hand. It is little moments like this that we love to be a part of and why we love what we do. Clear Light Photography captured this moment beautifully.

01.01.2022 Stage two of my flower pressing process! I unpack my flower presses and carefully remove all the florets. It’s a very slow process but worth it in the end. I then transfer these florets into my special flower drying crystals in an air tight container to ensure all the moisture is drawn out.
