17.01.2022 FUNDRAISING COOKBOOKS STILL AVAILABLE! The AULSS is proud to introduce the 'Warm Up and Serve: Recipes From The Heart For The Soul' cookbook from the team at Women's Legal Service SA! Thanks to COVID-19, they were unable to host their annual soup drive, but don't fret! After months of work (and endless taste testing we're sure) we can now present this cookbook for you all to love and enjoy as much as we do! A big thanks to all who were involved and to those who continue to... support the WLSSA. Without your help, they wouldn't be able to continue to supply vital legal services to women and children across the state. 15.01.2022 ATTENTION STUDENTS: A reminder that there will be two pick up times this week for outstanding 2020 Merchandise Orders: - Monday 7th December - 5:30pm-7:30pm... - Tuesday 8th December - 9am-5pm Please ensure that you bring your ticket with you (included in your confirmation email) to be able to receive your goodies. If you cannot make these times, please email our Vice-President, Annabel, at [email protected] to arrange an alternate time.

13.01.2022 GOOD NEWS we have just gotten word from our suppliers that the remaining size small white crew necks are being delivered this afternoon and will be ready for collection from tomorrow Collection times will continue today 10:30 - 12:00 and from 10:00 until 12:00 rest of the week as well. If you are waiting to pick up your jumper it is recommend that you do during one of these scheduled times. Planning additional collection times and making alternative pick up arrangements ...will be difficult due to exams and changeover of the AULSS Committee. 11.01.2022 Just a couple of updates from your AULSS: AULSS FINAL YEAR DRINKS It is with our deepest regret that we announce the cancellation of the AULSS Final Year Drinks which was scheduled to happen Saturday 21 November at the Havey. ... This year has been a strange one without a doubt and we were certainly looking forward to celebrating making through the many challenges it has presented Final-Years together at this event. We congratulate you all on completing your last year and University studies and the AULSS wishes you the best of luck in all of your future endeavours. AULSS MERCHANDISE In line with the newly announced restrictions collection of AULSS Merchandise has been put on pause. We do not have any specific plans about resuming them due to the changing circumstances but rest assured they will resume once restrictions are lifted and we are able to return to Liggy!! Congratulations to those who have finished your semester 2 assessments and good luck to those still completing theirs. We hope you are all keeping safe, and that you finally get the opportunity to celebrate this wonderful occasion of finishing a challenging year of your University studies. This year the AULSS received an unprecedented number of applications, with 49 applications for five vacant positions! We would like to thank each applicant for their time, interest and enthusiasm in applying to join the AULSS. ... 03.01.2022 The charity Australian Friends of Palestine will be running a fun run in November in support of humanitarian work and defense of international law for Palestine. This year's Run for Palestine will be a great family day out to raise awareness, funds and hope for a fair go and a just peace for Palestine. If you have a particular interest in human rights and international law or are just passionate about international social justice issues, this could be a great summer event f...or you! There will be an opportunity to meet with other students from other South Australian Universities and also for students to ask questions of current volunteers about how they can get involved. You can choose a: 5km RUN (1 lap) OR 5km WALK (1 lap) ... around Adelaide's beautiful linear park along the Torrens River in Adelaide city. Drinks & Palestinian Foods available Prizes & certificates Kids activities All welcome! Note: Pre-event online registrations close THURSDAY. 26 NOV @ 11:00PM. You can register to participate on the day of the event at Bonython Park. Registrations close 30 minutes prior to your event.
