05.01.2022 Parting is such sweet sorrow ... in an attempt to keep down the feral cat population, we’ve been doing Trap-Neuter-Release of this seasons kittens out of undese...xed cats dumped locally by feral humans. TNR keeps rodents down and human-tended cats naturally guard their territory so it stops new cats moving in to start the cycle again. Also keeps our indoor/outdoor cats safe from disease and stops unnecessary hormonal fighting (maybe a cure for some teens I know?). Honey is an excellent mouser (she loves chomping fingers!) and will be a lovely log pile & barn cat as she settles back in to her turf. If you ever see an outdoor cat with their ear tipped, that means they’re a human tended TNR, so just leave them alone.
