24.01.2022 I've put off posting this for abit, and I'm very sorry I feel i need to. I've never had to restrict clients to 'ONLY 6 WEEKLY REGULARS' (moving forward). Ever. As a dog psych and trainer I am always available to help the ones that fall thru the cracks. But Pretty sure both my ribs are snapped clean thru now, above my heart, one knock from a bouncy dog (even with body armour)...... Time to admit im human n not keep soldering on... Special shoutout this week to my family home, everyones pitched in above n beyond to help me keep my commitments. Your word is an important thing to keep. From many pain tears, a most cherished clients lasagne n cookies for our family, and my precious group of soul dogs (your babies), we made it thru hell week, on fresh breaks lol However moving forward, for a few months I think i need to rest n heal abit... I WILL still help: * my 6 weekly regulars. * dogs I've helped before, already trained and know my gentle pirelli based, voice commands * vet referral/emergent/rescue grooms * my groomer friends referrals. 21.01.2022 Lil Mr Drax's first big boy groom When you first get your puppy, it's a great idea to book in with your groomer too. Long haired breeds should be professionally groomed every 6weeks, and maintained at home in between ... (Drax took a fair while today, being his first groom at 7months old. His Dad didn't realise, and his Aunt said I could use his pics, to help other puppies. Drax will be coming in regularly now ) He did really well with lots of puppy play breaks... turns out he loves his grated cheese

10.01.2022 Please remember to be patient with your groomer: When your dog gets old n sore, Your groomer will give more rest breaks, Maybe rotating grooming between someone else that also needs a rest break,... When your dog has a sore leg, Your groomer will take more time to make sure there ouchy bits are all kindly supported, If the dryer is too scarey, Your groomer does whatever it takes, to keep them feeling safe! It will take longer. The list goes on. Nail trimming tickles, ear plucking can sting...take longer, so just be kind. I ask everyone on admit, there plans for the day, what realistic timeframe I have to help that dog for that day. If there needing dog psych help, overcoming trauma, in for a cruisey day play, etc. I give that same respect and love to every dog I help. So if anyone wants an unrealistic turn around time (usually groomers say 3hrs), and wants a dog produced in an hour...loose my number! For I will not scare a dog for anyone!

06.01.2022 Qualified Groomer Wanted: Any groomer friends need work? Busselton based home salon. *ideally international before corona, that needs to do their regional visa work?... *I'm broken, and I just can't let my regulars down. I need help, and I'm not one to ask. My family prep... 1. I need a qualified groomer from overseas, that I can myself improve with 2. Or someone that is already an experienced, caring groomer, that can step in n keep up with what I do They're out there, hens teeth tho. if I'm forced to take this week for health, I shull redirect n improove. Level up! Lol

03.01.2022 Sorry to advise I will need to take this week off work. It seems I've compromised my heart now too I will message everyone booked in this week, to reschedule. Moving forward I may readjust my work hours to part time, and am considering dropping saturdays altogether (for more healthy family time).... My young lad Deklyn is keen to pick up the slack and did this groom on lil miss Lexi today, mostly by himself I really do apologise for any inconvenience, we never know what lifes gonna throw at us hey. 03.01.2022 Please DO NOT DISTRACT THE WORKING DOG, their person's life depends on them. If you ever come across a working dog, without their person, their person is most likely in dire straights. Say 'show me'...and follow that dog! You may save someone.... Thank you

02.01.2022 * Unfortunately moving forward, I will not be taking on new clients myself at the moment (apart from Jill's, or recommendations from: personal clients, veterinarian emergencies, safe/shire emergencies, groomer friends talking with me first, psych/trauma cases, etc). I am stepping back to part time school hours, teaching/finishing role and passing things onto my son and family. They are learning all my heart n soul secrets.. how I help your dogs, and btw all your dogs know fr...ench lol I will continue with my own soul group of dogs.
