25.01.2022 A huge thank you to everyone who supported Aunty Lous Kitchen last night. None of this exist without you!! Absolutely beautiful to see you all last night. Special thanks to my little helpers, Kirra, Dallas and Logan. Couldnt have made it through the day and night without you all. Another thank you to Nige and Marissa you both know how much I need you both and last night was no different. ... Last but not least the "Jubilee bowls club" Thank you!! (especially KC you are appreciated my dear) your hospitality and your beautiful patrons were very welcoming and excepting of us with open arms, literally open arms as the night went on Next Friday night we will be making a couple of changes with the Menu to spice things up even more. 24.01.2022 HELLO MY LUVIES!! Finally I have found a suitable venue to open Aunty Lou's Kitchen! This Friday 14th of June. Address: 13 Burdekin street, Mundingburra 4812.... Kitchen opening times: Lunch 12:00pm to 2:00pm & Dinner 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Come over to the JUBILEE BOWLS CLUB this Friday for a hot meal, yummy deserts and some cold drinks during happy hour (5pm to 7PM). Menu: Box 1: Chicken vermicelli $12 Box 2: Coconut curry chicken $12 Box 3: Potato bake $12 (all meals include free rice) Cabbage stew & slow cooked Marinated rib-bones coming soon. YUMMY DESSERTS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE!! Option to eat in and take advantage of the Jubilee bowls club happy hour or take-away meals. Looking forward to seeing you all at a much happier time of our lives. 18.01.2022 Last night Aunty Lou and her helpers had a night off at the Australian Hotel on Palmer street. I found Katie and showed my appreciation again for her fresh meat, veggies and heaps more supplies of food 3 days ago. Their kindness continued again last night, thanks to Katie for your bloody beautiful generosity!! ... After hugs, kisses and pics we go to order and PAY for our meals. Son: *attempts to hand money over. Staff: sorry I can't take that. Son: For real? Staff: Yes, for real. Katie mentioned we are not to take money from "Aunty Lou's Kitchen" Son: *surprised. "The "Australian Hotel" has given plenty already how about I pay half and we call it evens. Staff: Sorry sir, I cant "even" do that. Son: I see what you did there. Nice! This means so much to us all thank you. Aunty Lou: Katie! You have given us heaps already and now paid for our meals, thank you so much my dear! Katie: Aunty Lou's kitchen money doesn't work here. Your very welcome Aunty Lou. I was literally holding back my tears in a crowded bar and now I am crying writing this. When I started my first meals on Monday with my family helpers we only had enough money and food to last a day maybe two? It's people such as Kaitie, Rob AND the rest of YOU why Aunty Lou's Kitchen is still giving FREE hot meals to families today!! (day 6 in a row) All your acts of kindness is what the true spirit of Townsville is about. We have had a lot of post, shares and inbox messages from Australia wide!!! 16.01.2022 Well there you have it my dears. It has been a huge week!! I could not have done any of this without my team of helpers and the people in our community. You all need to take credit for Aunty Lou's Kitchen. This couldn't have happened without your support. A huge thank you to everyone who donated big or small. A donation is a donation. Every dollar, every food item was used and played it's purpose. With the ingredients provided, your Aunty Lou and her team were able to ...turn the supplies into hot fresh meals delivered to our flood effected families door step. The last family had picked up their meals a couple of hours ago, they sent me a text I wanted to share. The support from all Queenslanders and the rest of Australia has been absolutely amazing!! Thank you. It was a pleasure meeting all the beautiful families in our city. Together we hurt, together we heal. We have shown to ourselves and the rest of Australia: We dont just GO through pain we GROW through pain. Good bye for now my luvlies. Your Aunty Lou needs rest. I will be opening Aunty Lou's kitchen in the next coming weeks for business which was my original plan before the floods came. Hope to see you soon luvies.

Thank you for everyone who showed the love and support for Aunty Lou's Kitchen. ... We delivered to the Townsville hospital NAIDOC event and they were very happy with the food and service. Special thanks to you all for what you do for our community. See you all again in two weeks time!! The kitchen opens again on Friday the 26th of July.

03.01.2022 We found time to have a laugh while shooting a couple of clips during the week of the floods. A blooper of me readying myself for attempt 15. I kept forgetting my lines and had to pull it together obviously didn't realise my son had wanted to start the recording that early. We couldn't stop laughing after this attempt. ... Had a lot of fun shooting Clips whilst doing 12 to 16 hours a day in Aunty Lou's Kitchen, during the floods. I have a couple of interviews on 4k1g tomorrow. One in the morning at 6:30am and one in the afternoon at 5:20pm. And a couple of other Brisbane radio stations tomorrow as well. Listen out as Aunty Lou's Kitchen has never been about me, its always been about us all. Goodnight luvies.
