17.01.2022 I always love hearing your feedback! This made my day back in December after finding out our plans to head to Sydney for family Christmas could no longer happen. Tiana reached out to me via Instagram to ask about my candles and clear up some confusion she had regarding the range. I was so glad the candle got to her before Christmas as she purchased only a few days before! If you have any questions about my candles or can't see something on the website that you're afte...r, pretty pleeease reach out to me in whatever way feels most comfortable for you. I'll be more than happy to accommodate. #auntylucys See more

09.01.2022 Hello weekend! Via @_itsbeautifulhere in sunny Byron Bay

08.01.2022 Gifts that look like sunshine! When workshopping the design , @gin_martini and I wanted to combine the colour of the wax with the sun over the sea on the label and packaging. I'm incredibly happy with how my concept, the design and the product blend together. Fun fact: the meaning of the name "Lucy" is light/sunlight. Perhaps it has something to do with my affinity for sunshine and beaches ... Image via @gin_martini #auntylucys #australianbynature

01.01.2022 "Um, excuse me, my candle's cracking!?" If this has happened to your candle, let us explain Firstly, this is likely to happen and it won't affect the performance of your candle. ... Beeswax has an incredibly high melting point, making it the longest lasting wax to burn. But, due to this major benefit, it means that as it cools down, cracks will often appear. Why? Beeswax is the most difficult wax to work with because it's incredibly susceptible to external influences. When cracking occurs, more often than not, it means that the temperature of the room in which the candle is sitting is much colder than the temperature of the candle. So, as the candle begins to harden after burning, the disparity in temperatures causes the cold air to harden the candle too quickly for it to form back together again. The most important piece to remember here is the fact that our candles are 100% natural. Soy and Paraffin candles don't crack as they are easier to work with having often been sourced from man made plantations and include extra ingredients. Our candles are imperfectly perfect. Know that when these cracks happen, it's only evidence of a completely natural product that is better for the environment #auntylucys #naturalbeeswaxcandles
