07.01.2022 Called out to a blocked drain from customer she just had another plumber called out for a drain jetter although Jetters are awesome for clearing blocked drains they are a temporary fix unless you fix the broken pipe the tree roots will keep climbing straight back in, sewer pipes are the perfect environment for tree root systems. Unfortunately in this customer's case and the house only 7 years old she has just purchased a house that had a cowboy tradie shoving black plastic d...own the drain as a cap with some ductape instead of installing a proper cap or clear out which allowed nearby tree roots to penetrate the system. Drain repaired and now a proper clear out brought to the surface to allow for any future maintenance.
