17.01.2022 A massive thank you to everyone for the ongoing support for the podcast series and helping us in raising money for some incredible charities. Last podcast we were able to raise $300 for The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, who are Australia’s largest human rights organisation providing support for people seeking asylum. Next up we have Commodus of Rome, a multi disciplinary artist residing in Melbourne, Australia. He is drawn to the depths by hypnotic rhythms, lucid soundscapes and driving primal energy that transcends into deep techno. Liam is not limited to only finding inspiration through sound but also through sight. The coldness of an empty forest smothered by fog or the angst that compiles brutalist architecture. Check out our newest edition to the series via the link below.
15.01.2022 Big thanks again to everyone who supported our previous podcast. We managed to raise $580 which Hyper Binary have kindly offered to match putting the total to $1160. This will be going towards Children’s Ground, a charity led by aboriginal communities supporting children and families facing disadvantages and injustice in Alice Springs. Next up we welcome Ripplefactor Ever since being introduced to the ethereal atmospheric sounds of Deep Techno, Ripplefactor has been on a qu...est to explore the genre much in depth. Through this journey he has been able to connect with like minded people and artists who have inspired him to sculpt a narrative style which he tries to portray through his mixes. Believing that music is created as a resonance of what we perceive from around us, he is forever on the look out for inspiration from nature, abstract architecture and mystifying art. Driven by what inspires him, he endeavours to delve into more experimentation with his upcoming projects. Check out the mix below
10.01.2022 One of our boys ‘Sonic’ has just dropped a mix on Melbourne based label AYTHEKOS, featuring some of his unreleased work which will be coming up on our new Label Aura Records launching at the end of November. Stay tuned for what’s to come
09.01.2022 For our next instalment of the series we are very excited to welcome Hyper Binary. Bringing his tough as nails approach to electronica - with a knowledgeable & considered musical backing that's the result of years of influence from sources like Hip Hop, Psychedelic Funk, and deep techno Hyper Binary transgresses the path that lines the inspirations and memories of the past with the boundless optimism and zen-like awareness of the sounds that lie ahead in the future. This ...week, we are very proud to be supporting Children’s Ground - a charity very close to Hyper Binary’s heart. Children’s Ground is an organisation led by Aboriginal Communities who do incredible work with children, families and communities facing disadvantages and injustice in Alice Springs. The incredible work that is being undertaken by Children’s Ground aims to create a future full of opportunity and justice for these communities. We will be donating $5 for every like on the podcast for the next two weeks so get involved and help us raise some money for this great cause. See more
02.01.2022 This weeks podcast will feature Melbourne artist MNMLT , and again will be donating $5 for every like which will go towards the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC). The ASRC are a non-profit organization that provide pathways for refugees seeking asylum. During the lockdown of the high rise buildings throughout North Melbourne and West Melbourne, the ASRC were there with unions and other charities in support of the families. They also have a food bank which was provided to ...those that were held in hard lockdown. An artist that believes less is more, MNMLT focuses more on seamless blending of a carefully curated track selection, letting the music speak for itself. During the lockdown period, he has really spent most of his passion and energy into the various styles of deep techno, due to his love for hypnotising and psychedelic atmospheres and grooves. MNMLT is a DJ and budding producer based in Melbourne - he’s played in various venues and festivals, having supported international artists such as VSK, Cleric, Lewis Fautzi and Wrong Assessment to name a few. He runs his own collective; Savage, as well as being a resident DJ for local crew Red Moon. Artwork and photography done by Ryan Bell
