19.01.2022 In August 2019, a team of Kelly siblings and enthusiastic Territorian friends are tackling the Katherine Ultra Challenge, aiming to raise $3000 to support a student to undertake an internship with an Indigenous organisation through the Aurora Internship Program who otherwise would not be able to afford to do so. The John Skipper Kelly Fund aims to provide leadership opportunities, mentoring and support for young people from a range of backgrounds. If you can donate, please follow the link below.

13.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE! Despite the uncertainty due to COVID-19, if you are considering applying for an Aurora winter 2020 internship, we encourage you to do so. Winter internships usually take place anytime from June through October so with this timeframe in mind, it may still be possible to provide intern support to our Host organisations as they consider their needs. We would like to reassure you that Aurora has a vigilant outlook in protecting the health and well-being for its s...taff, participants and stakeholders, particularly those in remote communities. Throughout this, we are working hard to ensure that we continue to deliver our services - in these trying times. Applications close on Friday 27 March at 5pm AEST. We encourage all applicants to get their application in as soon as possible, even if it means emailing references or transcripts later. 01.01.2022 Applications for the upcoming summer 2020/21 round of the Aurora Internship Program open soon! We now have over 200 host organisations that we work with and are accepting candidates with academic backgrounds in legal, social science, health science, business and education. We are once again able to offer financial support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander students and graduates via scholarship funded internships as pathways to jobs in the Indigenous sector and beyond.... Scholarships will cover daily living expenses ($800/week) as well as travel and accommodation costs for away-from-home placements.
