24.01.2022 With the current advice from the government prohibiting public gathering right now, here are some fantastic ideas from RSL on how we can still show our support to, and commemorate ANZAC Day

22.01.2022 Thank you volunteers! Today marks the start of National Volunteer Week and so we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the amazing volunteers who give their time, energy and passion to supporting the Australian Army Cadets Victoria Brigade. RCUO CUO Bradstreet is showing her support for our volunteers by waving a special smile of appreciation from home. We invite you to put your hands up and thank all the volunteers in the AAC VIC BDE by waving your own specia...l smile of appreciation and sharing it with us. #NCW2020 #waveforvolunteers See more

22.01.2022 "The best part about conducting the award at home is to have the opportunity to explore the new ways to conduct these activities in an online environment rather... than a face to face interaction" Congratulations to Bob Qian from Australian Army Cadets who is persevering and working towards his Gold Award Journey during Covid-19 and becoming #worldready and #readyforournewworld

21.01.2022 Wishing all of the mothers in our AAC VIC BDE family a very Happy Mother’s Day. To all our cadet’s mothers and to the ACS, ADF and Volunteer members who are mothers, thank you for your ongoing love, guidance and support to our cadets.

21.01.2022 AAC VIC BDE is full of amazing, experienced young leaders and we wanted to present the opportunity to get to know some of them a little better. In the first of a series of videos, we’ve asked them: Why did you join cadets? this has to be one of the most common questions cadets are asked by their peers, see what they had to say below. 21.01.2022 Wishing all of the dads in our AAC VIC BDE family a very Happy Father’s Day. To all our cadet’s fathers and to all the ACS, ADF and volunteer members who are fathers, thank you for your ongoing love, guidance and support to our cadets.

15.01.2022 Whist we have identified that leadership is one skill they have acquired from the cadet program, what else have they excelled at during their time at cadets? This week we find out from our group of leaders what they consider to be their cadet area of expertise. Video editing credit: CUO C. Bradstreet

05.01.2022 VIC AAC BDE was proud to host the CDTCPL component of courses camp 1 of 2020, which commenced on Monday 29th of June using a new online format. The course was the first of its of kind for the ADFC and had over 120 cadets from across the BDE, along with members from South Australia and Queensland participating. The purpose of the CDTLCPL and CDTCPL course is to develop the junior leaders of the organisation, teaching the foundational leadership and instructional skills that pr...epare cadets to take on positions of responsibility at their units. The success of this course has set up the BDE to continue to develop further online training components for future courses. Well done to everyone involved in making this course happen, including the Cadet Directing Staff, Adult Cadet Staff and all of the cadets who have participated over the week.

03.01.2022 Today many of our cadets with their families stood together to remember the ANZACs by participating in the Anzac Day Driveway Vigil 2020. We thank those members of AAC Victoria Brigade that stood on their driveways and participated. We look forward to sharing some images from across the State with you all. If you have images to share, please DM directly to us. #LestWeForget #AnzacDay2020

03.01.2022 Every year, on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we pause to remember.

02.01.2022 #OnThisDay in August 1966, in a rubber plantation near the village of Long Tan, #OurPeople fought one of the fiercest battles of the Vietnam War. Today, on the ...anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan, we commemorate Vietnam Veterans' Day. We say thank you to almost 60,000 Australians who served during the 10 years of our involvement in the Vietnam War, and we remember their sacrifices. #LestWeForget : Australian War Memorial
