08.01.2022 The Casino and District Historical Society Inc. wish to advise members of the passing of Joan Newman OAM on Wednesday 29th September 2021. Joan’s funeral is Wednesday 6th October at 2pm at Casino Catholic Church. Joan was a Life Member and long time Committee member of the Society, serving as President from 2005 -2011, Secretary 2000-2004 and Research Officer until 2018. Society Members offer their Deepest Sympathy to Joan’s family and are appreciate of her time as a member of the Society.
