12.01.2022 Earlier today, Western Regional Manager Shelly-Anne Cornell, Dr Joshua Tymms and Dr Lyndon Woods met with WorkCover WA’s CEO Chris White, Kevin Gillingham and Stephen Psaila-Savona to discuss chiropractic utilisation and future expansion across Australia in the workplace rehabilitation provider space. The meeting was positive and we look forward to providing developments in the near future.

12.01.2022 SA Health has confirmed that as of 11:59pm Saturday all restrictions are lifted. Practitioners are reminded they should maintain social distancing, have COVID safe plans in place and use telehealth where appropriate. We do not know at this point in time when the websites of SA Health and the SA Government will be updated to reflect this advice.

03.01.2022 Congratulations to Drs Damian Kristof, Peter McCann, Carl Thistlethwayte, Anthony Briggs and Peter McGlynn, who have all recently passed a rigorous four-hour examination to achieve Certification with the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM) and the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM). In addition, Drs Kristof, McCann, Thistlethwayte and McGlynn have all been granted Fellowship status with ASLM in recognition of extensive prior learning in the field of Lifestyle Medicine. The four successful ASLM Fellows are all Committee members of the AICE Wellbeing and Lifestyle Management Clinical Practice Group.

The scholarships are available to those who are entering their final year in chiropractic or osteopathy study in 2021. Scholarship applications close 12 March.
