20.01.2022 Happy Birthday to the LP! The first commercially available vinyl LP was launched by RCA Victor on this day in 1931, with a demonstration/reception at the Savoy-Plaza Hotel, New York. Samuel Barber's 'Heaven Haven' was composed about that time. We released this on the Naxos label with the Choir of Ormond College the year before we started the ACC (2006).
