25.01.2022 Bit difficult in the church library at the moment. No proper shelves. I hate it when people have to bend down and scrabble through boxes. But I have plans to change all this. Watch this space.

13.01.2022 I seem to have started sending books out to people who can't get to the library! I have three parcels of books out to far off readers. I just hope they send them back when they've finished.

13.01.2022 I hope you enjoy the Spring issue of Off the Shelf. Its mostly book reviews. Don't forget to send Christmas stories, funny, sad, joyful. My Christmas story happened way back in the late 1940's. My father took my brother and I to the house at the beach and we were very excited. The house had been empty for months and was dusty and... But... when we went up stairs to go to bed, a thousand fleas jumped on us. We were only little and got very distressed. My poor father didn't know what to do with us and began to get cross, but he was being bitten too, and he sympathized with us.

06.01.2022 Good day for out fledgling library at St Bart's. Some good ideas to make access easier.

05.01.2022 Just finished reading Paul Hattaway's book about his life and career; his work Bible courier, and the wonderful amount of Bible that he helped to spread throughout China. Now I am going to re-read 'The Heavenly Man' again. Amazing story.

05.01.2022 Very excited to be going to John Dickson talk about the church, "How it is better and worse than we think' tonight, and a teaching day tomorrow. (Saturday 3rd August, 1.30 p.m.)
