10.01.2022 Join the AUBN's FREE event in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Goals Student Hub: an online panel discussion exploring the impacts of COVID-19 and how we move forward sustainably. Their speakers are: Rosa Shackley from Michael Beard's Lab at Adelaide University, Cesar Chaparro from Treasury Wine Estate and Dan Schmidt from Wellbeing SA. They will be covering topics from vaccine production to economical impacts and last but not least, how to maintain good mental health amid this pandemic! For those involved/interested in agriculture/from a rural community the Agriculture Bureau of South Australia is now accepting nominations for the 2020 Spirit of Excellence in Agriculture awards. They currently have applications open for ... The Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship sponsored by Department for Environment and Water (DEW) is an $8,000 grant for a farmer aged 18-40 to pursue further study, take a study tour or run a special project. The Rural Youth Bursary sponsored by Department of Primary Industries and Regions SA (PIRSA) is a $5,000 grant for rural young people aged 18-30 working in a rural community to undertake further study in their chosen career with an ultimate benefit to their community. 01.01.2022 We're really excited to announce that the theme for our SciBall this year is Botanica Ball! For the first time, due to certain events which we won't mention, our SciBall has been shifted to spring, and what goes better with spring than a botanical theme? To top it off the ball will be held in the stunning South Terrace gardens at Adelaide Pavilion! The ball will be held on Friday 30th October and we could not think of a better way to end week 12! There is a limited capacity so follow our event page for ticket pricing and the link which will be released next week !!
