25.01.2022 Great work guys, we look forward to continuing to work together with bigger and better things to come! https://www.facebook.com//UzpfSVNDOjEyMjE1MzE2OTgyNDg1OD/

25.01.2022 Like a scene from an old western, local licensing police burst through the saloon doors, security guards bristle and publicans take cover. Of course we exaggerate, but surely we can do better than this. If both sides see each other as the bad guys, everyone loses. Perhaps now is the time to rewrite the script? The security, liquor and gaming industry is already facing strong external pressures from all sides media scrutiny, public opinion and evolving legislation. While so...me regulators and venues work tremendously together on local issues and concerns, many struggle to find the right mix. So, if we’re not working together as an industry, and in some cases even working against each other, it makes it harder for everyone to do their job and to balance safety, compliance and business pressures. For too long, venues, security and regulators have been speaking different languages. Here we look at how to help regulators, venues, patrons and the public all get what they need: https://auscomply.com.au/2020//06/regulators-friend-or-foe/ #compliance #lockouts #auscomply #digitalincidentregister #liquor #regtech

24.01.2022 If you’re still battling with printed books to manage compliance for your venue, no doubt you’ve rightly considered a Digital Incident Register. It's well worth the move, but it pays to do your homework. Don’t fear moving to a Digital Incident Register. It’s easier than you think and has the potential to reap rewards and benefits well beyond that of the now stale old paper based system. Use this checklist to make sure you tick all the boxes.... 1. Is it compliant with national legislation? 2. Is your platform independently owned and operated? 3. Is there a track-record of proven results? 4. Does it cover both liquor AND security registers? 5. Is industry-specific logic and intelligence built in? 6. How will they plan to keep pace with change? 7. What key features do you need? 8. How secure is your data? 9. Are you locked in? 10. Is it highly recommended? Read the article for all the details and to tee up a demo: https://auscomply.com.au/2020/02/21/dont-risk-your-licence/

24.01.2022 If you manage compliance or security for a venue, chances are you’re using manual, paper-based systems designed decades ago. But that’s changing fast. Digital incident registers are now approved by regulators to replace printed books in NSW and QLD. @AusComply offers the only compliant digital incident register for liquor and security in these states and is also compliant with legislation in VIC, SA and NT. This means you can replace your paper-based venue and security regist...ers with one digital platform. Based on years of research, testing and proven results, @AusComply is an end-to-end digital incident register and compliance platform that streamlines the entire workflow. We’ve just launched our mobile app that makes it even easier to manage your information from wherever you are. Visit our new website for more information or get in touch with any questions. www.auscomply.com.au Thankyou to Paul Walker (Palace Hotel), @Seanwagstaff (The Sunken Monkey Hotel) and the Surry Hills Hotel for their time in taking part in this video. #compliance #lockouts #auscomply #digitalincidentregister #liquor #venue #incident #incidentregister

13.01.2022 We’ve enjoyed the great times with you, and it’s now time to share the tough times too. AusComply has paused all subscription payments for our licensed venue clients who were forced to effectively shut down until the industry can get back to business. There are of course some venues providing food and takeaway sales along with their bottle shops, so the system will remain operational with no charge for those of you who can still trade, albeit in a very limited fashion, and o...f course everyone will continue to have access to their historical data. As they are an essential service, we are addressing our Security clients on a case by case basis as many have remained operational with some getting busier. Please contact us ASAP if this is not the case so we can put suitable arrangements in place. We wish you, your families and staff all the best. We’re all in this together and can’t wait to sit down with you again soon(ish) over a cold drink! If you have questions or we can be of any help with training or advanced planning, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 1300 22 66 75 or [email protected] THANK YOU for all your support! 11.01.2022 Standing while drinking! Introduced in NSW just two days ago. Just in the nick of time for our friends in Port Mac. Seriously, stay safe this weekend everyone.

10.01.2022 A digital platform like AusComply gives me data, and data’s king, right? So, I can make business decisions based on data. Another great thing is it’s live! I can check in at any time from home, away, on holidays and see if there were any incidents from the night before. Paul Walker runs the iconic Palace Hotel Sydney. He's discussing his digital incident register and compliance platform. I’ve already recommended AusComply to other venues as something they should definitel...y look at. I don’t see any negative sides for venues taking this onboard. It’s more than cost-effective. It’s benefited the business. I honestly think it’s something every business should have. #compliance #lockouts #auscomply #digitalincidentregister #liquor #regtech

08.01.2022 A timely article, sharing some tips on how venues can stay on the right side of regulators... https://clubsandpubsmanager.partica.online//2/flipbook/16/

08.01.2022 The Government has loosened the noose around the CBD and Kings Cross. But the ball is now firmly in the industry’s court - lets repay the trust. After a big slap down in 2013, the NSW Government has extended an olive branch to the industry by relaxing the lockout laws from January 14. We campaigned for it, we insisted the laws were over the top, now it’s up to us to prove that we can deliver a culture of safety and compliance. They put their trust in us very publicly, we mu...st not betray it. Yes, there’s been some excellent moves in the right direction, but the show isn't over yet. One thing’s for sure, the Government, regulators and interested parties on both sides will be watching VERY closely for any bad behaviour, spike in violence or evidence to support the reversal of these changes, and perhaps even the right to say I told you so. If we betray this trust and drop the ball, we may not get another chance for decades to come. In this article we share our analysis of the lockout legislation changes and cautious optimism. #compliance #lockouts #auscomply #digitalincidentregister #liquor

06.01.2022 Looking forward to state & territory governments, across Australia, prioritising the reopening of the hospitality industry...

05.01.2022 Unfortunately we can only continue to support and empathise with our customers during what can only be described as a frustrating and disappointing time. The ball is now squarely in the Government’s court to bring on stage three easing of restrictions ASAP.

04.01.2022 As you can see in the Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate fact sheet. Security Master Licence Holders are able to use digital incident registers. In fact have been able to since 2015. So if you're; * Still using manual incident registers? * Perhaps got a boot full of new registers and still wrestling with the logistics of getting new books out to all your sites. * You may be struggling with consistency in reporting or perhaps just the required 3 years of storage?... * Want to be able to engage with regulators on a different level? It could be something entirely different, but it doesn't matter what your issue, AusComply can help. With more than 30 years in-house compliance history and expertise give us a call now to discuss the benefits and just how quickly we can have you up and running. With licenced venues soon to be opening now's a great time to make the transition. #compliance #digitalincidentregister #incidentregister #security #reopennsw #FreedomDay #nswpolice #auscomply #licencedvenues #pubs #citysafe #dir

03.01.2022 I will never go back to the manual incident registers. They're a waste of time. Paul Walker runs the iconic Palace Hotel Sydney. We asked him how he handles compliance in the new world of changing laws and media scrutiny. In true ‘publican’ style, he didn’t hold back! Watch now. Compliance obviously is the number one thing for us. It's licence protection, it's making sure we don't incur any breaches with Liquor and Gaming, it’s keeping the licensing police onside. [Print...ed] incident registers are not up to date, they're so lagging in terms of being able to get any data out of them. They really are time consuming. They're not accurate. A digital platform like AusComply gives me data, and data's key, right? So, I can make business decisions based on data." AusComply’s online register makes us proactive. So we’re checking things before a problem happens. I noticed straight away we had a reduction in incidences, so it's actually really done wonders for the business. 02.01.2022 With lockout laws grabbing headlines, the pressure is now on venues to demonstrate a culture of compliance and safety. The question is how? We explain how to get on the front foot with compliance for a safer and more profitable businesses. We include a checklist and real-life examples of how the Palace Hotel Sydney, The Sunken Monkey Hotel and Beer Deluxe Albury have used this approach successfully. Read the article here ==> https://auscomply.com.au//how-to-stay-on-the-right...-side-o/ At AusComply we’re in and out of venues every day, and the fact is the vast majority are well-run and are doing all the right things. The problem we see is that they have no way to demonstrate this conclusively to regulators. They’ve got the guards, they’re doing the checks, they’re dealing with problems well, but if push comes to shove they typically have little or no real evidence of this activity to show regulators beyond what might be seen on a regulator walkthrough. #compliance #lockouts #auscomply #digitalincidentregister #liquor #regtech

01.01.2022 While governments around the world grapple with their next moves, businesses and individuals alike are being asked to demonstrate ‘social responsibility’. We’re all being asked to ‘do our bit’ or ‘contribute’, but what exactly does that mean for the hospitality and security industry? For now the best thing we can do is put in place our own controls and measures to ensure the collective safety of our staff, patrons and customers. Here are some suggested proactive measures + a ...free hand washing poster to print and place around your venue: https://auscomply.com.au//what-does-socially-responsibili/ Jason Thomas #compliance #lockouts #auscomply #digitalincidentregister #liquor #regtech #covid19aus #coronavirus #StaySafe #HandWashing #Covid19
