15.01.2022 Congratulations to our dancers Harrison Elliott, Kimball Wong and to Garry Stewart who have all been nominated for Ausdance National Australian Dance Awards. Harrison has been nominated for '2019 Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Dancer' for his performance in South. Kimball has been nominated for '2018 Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Dancer' for his performance in The Beginning of Nature. ... Garry Stewart has been nominated for '2019 Award for Outstanding Achievement in Choreography' for South. We are also thrilled that Garry Stewart's works The Beginning of Nature (2018) and South (2019) have both been nominated for 'Award for Outstanding Performance by a Company' in their respective years.

13.01.2022 **OF ALL THINGS - SEASON UPDATE** We will be postponing Of All Things for two weeks, pending any further public health announcements. The season will now take place from Thursday 3 Sunday 6 December.... We are so close to opening night, but the potential risk to our performers and audiences is too great for us to proceed at the moment. Everyone who has purchased tickets for any of these shows is being contacted and we are in the process of reallocating tickets to these new performances. For anyone who has not purchased, tickets any remaining seats for these postponed performances these will go on sale at a later date. If you have any queries at all please email [email protected]. 08.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce that two of Garry Stewart’s short films have been selected for the Adelaide Film Festival for 2020. This is will be the world premiere of ‘The Choreography of Emotions’, a film which was produced in conjunction with Jumpgate VR. The film explores the intricacies of human emotion, through bodily movement and a powerful journey with stunning video effects that recontextualise how we perceive the body. ‘The Circadian Cycle’ is also having its Australi...an cinematic Premiere at the festival. Filmed within the stunning South Australian landscape, the film uses the dancing body as a metaphor, examining morphology, biological rhythm and animal behaviour. The Circadian Cycle charts a day from sunrise to evening, moving through cycles of nature, from nascence and awakening to predation and death. Both short films are screening before a full-length feature film, find the links to more information in the comments.
08.01.2022 ** ARTIST IN RESIDENCE // SEEKING APPLICATIONS ** ADT, supported through the generosity of the Tanja Liedtke Foundation, is offering a six-week residency as part of the International Centre for Choreography. This is available to choreographers based in Adelaide, South Australia. This is an exceptional opportunity for a movement practitioner to work in a creative space within ADT’s Tanja Liedtke Studio in Adelaide. The residency will provide time and an environment for artists... to evolve new ideas toward their choreographic practice. The successful applicant will be offered a one-year contract of fulltime employment commencing 4th January 2021 and will be required to relocate to Adelaide, South Australia.
