24.01.2022 What a great shop to buy anything to do with luggage, carry bags, wallets and more. The wonderful owner, proudly showed off some bags that were designed by him ...and custom made. I brought a beautifully crafted shoulder strap bag to carry my laptop, ipad and smart phone all in one... will definitely order some custom bags in the future... 284 Oxford Street, Paddington (Sydney) See more

18.01.2022 This slit-drum from the island of Ambrym in Vanuatu was presented by the Australian Friends of Vanuatu in July 1992. It is made of Intsia bijuga (Pacific teak). Known on Ambrym as 'atingting', slit-drums were traditionally used for beating dance rhythms, transmitting messages or summoning villagers to meetings. @SydneyRoyalBotanicGarden

17.01.2022 As part of Heritage Week, the Pitchi Richi Sanctuary was open today 22 April 2017, providing a rare opportunity for people to visit this unique property - one of Alice’s hidden gems - which is usually closed to the public due to ongoing restoration by Heritage Alice Springs. Thank you to Greg Sully for providing the photos.
