This year, UN Women is asking people to #OrangeTheWorld today, and for the #16Days of Activism on gender-based violence, by wearing the colour orange, and making buildings and social media orange. Australia joins partners around the world, to support UN Women’s calls for collective efforts to promote approaches to violence against women and girls, which ‘Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect.’ DFAT’s COVID-1...9 response strategy, ‘Partnerships for Recovery’ places gender equality and the elimination of violence against women as a key priority for Australia. Owner Caroline lived in Australia for some time and brought back the inspiration for Wilke's well-known Aussie-style brunch in Berlin.
