06.01.2022 Chargée d’affaires Jenny Da Rin had a wonderful time attending The School of St Yared, Ethiopia’s student’s ‘Talent Show’ showcasing theatre performance, art shows and dance shows demonstrating the potential of young Ethiopians. Ms Da Rin was accompanied by Group Captain Defence Attaché Andrew Gilbert and Dianne Gilbert who volunteers as an English teacher at the school. The school is a great success story that demonstrates strong people to people links between & supporting the aspirations of these young and bright #Ethiopians.

01.01.2022 Together with committed Australians, including businesses, the Australian Embassy is proud to support the School of St Yared, which educates poor and underprivileged Ethiopian children. We were delighted to meet with The School of St Yared, Ethiopia and the Addis Ababa Mayor’s office to talk about their exciting plans to expand the school and help more children gain a quality education.
