Get in for a camp spot around the large dams before the weather gets too hot. Only a 2 hr drive from Cairns and Innisfail. Visit us once - and you are set to be 'repeat campers'!

20.01.2022 It's Good News Week for Campers. Qld is OPEN for camping from today!! Campers have been chaffing at the bit to get out to their favorite camp site and cool weather ideal for that camp fire. Camp sites still available up to end of school holidays around dams and creeks so do get in touch to book a site to relax with family and friends and explore the historical surrounds of Mont Albion.

19.01.2022 High School Camp at Mont Albion. Great bunch of lads from Woree #Clontarf enjoying a couple of days of station life - lots of hands on - catching, brushing, saddling, riding horse; setting redclaw pots and much more! They also enjoyed last night's State of Origin with us at the homestead - Queenslanders....

19.01.2022 Oh...what a difference a week makes! Glorious weather last week at Spurwood Springs Mena Creek for the wedding of a lovely local couple. Thanks to my very capable 'sidekick' Natasha Burns for the lovely photos of set up on the day. And...wasn't the entrance arrangement divine by Cheryl-Lee Florist Lovely also to catch up with Paul and Aleisha who had their wedding here at Spurwood Springs three years back and now have a delightful addition to the family. Photo of their wedding day below. Who doesn't love a Spring Wedding - and another exciting day for us coming up very soon.

17.01.2022 Kids topped off a great fun weekend on their horses with a dip in the dam. Matt thanks all who came to the horse camp for their compliments. Keep posted for future camps at Mont Albion Station.

17.01.2022 Have had a cancellation for this weekend at the most popular dam site on Mont Albion Station. Will take up to 5 families. Other good dam sites also available if anyone is keen to get away. Great weather and only a 2 hr drive from Cairns. Bring your kayaks / pushbikes and redclaw pots.

16.01.2022 IF you camp in a group - good news..We have just had a campsite cancellation for this coming weekend (Cairns Show Holiday). Have a large site that can place up to 6 vehicles plus trailers). This is a large open / grass / sand area . See the dam through the trees. Fireplaces. Wood around to collect. Walk or drive to nearby large dam to put kayaks in. Email me at : [email protected] if you have a group interested in this site and I will send you back all the camping info. 01.01.2022 Very sad. Had personal family experience with a quad bike accident.... and a recent incident on our property. So..understandably we are currently revisiting the use of 4 / 2 wh bikes and side by sides on our property by ALL visitors.
