20.01.2022 What is polished concrete? Polished concrete floors are a collection of aggregates that are embedded in a cementitious floor surface. Once the floor cures it is ground down using high-end equipment that contains commercial diamonds to enhance the fineness of the grinding process. The floor is ground down to reveal the aggregates to a certain extent and is then polished by using progressively thinner grinding pads once the floor is polished to a pre-determined level of shine (which can be matt, satin, semi-gloss or high gloss) it is sealed to protect it from the elements and Voila! A beautiful polished concrete floor is installed.

Venues that experience high volumes of pedestrian traffic require such durable floors, however with a polished concrete floor they can enjoy much more. They have the opportunity to design a floor that will enhance and compliment their interior design, will shine to their particular requested level, will be cost-effective, easy to clean, maintain, and keep hygienic, and is also environmentally friendly. The truth is there isnt much more you could ask of a floor than that!

13.01.2022 Date: March 2016 Title: Belle Banne Factory in Dandenong Description: Belle Banne a major supplier of conveyor belts, engineering, building products and maintenance service to the construction industry required a new epoxy non slip floor as their old one wasnt handling their current requirements.... Normally this would not be an issue but Belle Banne had three issues which we had to resolve; 1. Deadlines that they MUST meet with deliverables 2. The expense related to loss of income 3. Where to put the existing stock thats in the warehouse Upon our site inspection we offered a solution which was to do the factory in two parts, one during the Xmas holidays and then the next over the Easter break. All their staff would be away on holidays during those period and we would have a clean run with no interruptions to finish the factory in two parts. Deadline: Stage 1: Xmas shutdown, Epoxy half of factory floor with non slip floor. Stage 2: Easter shutdown, Epoxy other half of factory floor with non slip floor. Factory size: 2000 M2 Summary: To supply materials, labour and equipment and diamond grind floor to remove existing coating, prepare floor and then apply 2 coats of Dulux Luxafloor roll coat with non slip additive.
