24.01.2022 The $1 Million American Express Music Backers Fund has been established to help Australian music businesses, artists and fans to keep the music playing in whatever way possible. The grant is available to provide a boost to get back on track or to help shift focus to new growth. Depending on the type of support youre after there are three streams available. Back on Track provides grants of up to AU$10,000 to help you get back to doing what you do best. Transformation and Growth provides grants of up to $25,000 for those wanting to invest in new opportunities and Innovation and Community Impact is up to $50,000 available for initiatives that have appositive impact on the broader music loving community. Two rounds will be delivered, with the first closing 13 September and the second closing 9 November.

12.01.2022 Australia's peak volunteering bodies are offering grants to volunteer-based organisations across Australia to support the efforts and increase participation in volunteering. Grants range from $1,000 - $5,000 for not-for-profit organisations with a volunteer workforce of at least 40%.

11.01.2022 Australia Council for the Arts #cherishfund These grants are available to individuals and organisations to protect senior custodians and Elders as a source of cultural knowledge for artist expression, to explore and interrogate artistic methodologies and support professional skill development for arts workers navigating a new digital world. A maximum of $25,000 per grant is available and the fund is a direct response to COVID-19 and the disruption experienced by First Nations arts and cultural communities. 07.01.2022 These grants offered by the American Australian Association are open to emerging or early career artists and support study or artistic development in each country. Grants of up to $5000 USD support artists in theatre, film, TV, photography, fashion, literature, music, visual arts and design and funds can be used towards the costs of travel, living and tuition for artistic development broad. Both American and Australian artists can apply to travel to each other’s country. Applications close 15 October 2020.
