25.01.2022 The South West is on the lookout for NAB AFL Auskickers who best demonstrate the spirit of the game dedication, enthusiasm, teamwork and passion. Unfortunately due to the implications of COVID-19, we were unable to run our 'South West Auskicker of the Year' competition in 2020. However, thanks to the the South West Football League, 23 lucky South West Auskickers will be given the opportunity to hand out a premiership medallion to the winning side of the 2020 South West Foot...ball League Grand Final. Grand final will be held at Hands Oval, Bunbury on Sunday 11th October. To enter your Auskicker for a chance to win, all you have to do is fill in the online entry form below before Sunday 4th October to be in the running. https://www.swrfdc.org.au/swfl-medal-opportunity-2020 The 23 selected players will be announced on the the 'South West AFL For Life' Facebook page on Monday morning 5th October. Selected participants will then receive an email by Monday lunchtime on the 5th October with all details for the day.

22.01.2022 Even better turnout this afternoon, we have new opportunities opened up with an audible football also. That is a great idea and it was amazing to see those vision impaired players getting stuck into the fun too. Fingers crossed for next Tuesday, see if we can get more players down there for even more fun!! Remember folks, all ages and all abilities, please tag or pass on to those who would love to play footy to come and try for free!!!... Greg.

15.01.2022 Hi Auskick Families, In the interest of keeping kids playing sport, Ive just been onto the Woolworths Cricket Blast website and Ive seen that our Friends at Marist Cricket Club (a club in which both the CPFC and by extension the CPJFC are loosly associated) are starting their Boys and Girls Cricket Blast season real soon. To Quote their Locator - "Junior Blasters is for kids new to cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game based activities. The games ...are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. When they have mastered the basics they will be ready to graduate to Master Blasters where they can play modified games of cricket" "Master Blasters is a super fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls aged 7 to 10. The program is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time. All the equipment is supplied and the games take place at the same venue each week, at a local cricket club or community centre." Link is Below. https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details Thanks, Greg.
