14.01.2022 https://youtu.be/Kr0YXbl8qSI Auslan Resources Facebook Update 4 - Online Auslan Baby Signs Course - Sneak Preview! What does it look like inside? TRANSCRIPT BELOW:... Hello, in my recent Facebook Update (#3), I showed you two Auslan Baby Signs books, I explained what's in there. Now, what's next, it's something really good, it's Online Auslan videos, it uses the contents from the Auslan Baby Signs books. When parents, families, or teachers learn from the Baby Signs books, they can also go to the website and watch online videos showing them how to sign them out. All the Auslan Baby Signs contents are in videos, many of them, showing how to sign them in conversations. It's good for those who are far away, who cannot attend Auslan classes to learn Auslan, being stuck, work, too busy, and so on... they can learn Auslan at home by just watching the videos and signing them out. It's wonderful. So, coming next, I'll show you what it looks like in the videos, how to get in, and so on. You know, perhaps when you sign them out, you may need somone to watch you sign, to give you feedback on whether you are signing them out correctly or not, you can contact me, and I will give you a list of available Auslan tutors who can help you, you can contact them, and they will help you online, to help you practice signing out the signs, to improve your signing skills. It's good to have both, to learn the signs online, and to have a tutor to give you feedback if you are signing them correctly. To have both, will help you improve a lot. So, I'll share the video with you next now. See more

08.01.2022 First Facebook video for Auslan Resources! Update #1 Welcome! Next video coming up will be about a new interactive tool for Auslan in ACARA.
07.01.2022 Short transcription of video: This video is for Auslan teachers teaching Auslan in Australian schools, who are following Auslan in ACARA (the Australian Curriculum). There is an online Auslan in ACARA curriculum organising tool, which is colour coded, to make it easy and pleasant to follow, in www.auslanresources.com.au/ACARA.htm We have just recently completed downloadable A3 posters showing each level of Auslan in ACARA (F-2, 3-4, and so on, its band description, achievemen...t standards, communicating and understanding strands). If you don't have anything like this from your school to help you with organising your Auslan lessons, please feel free to use it. There are 14 pages of A3 paper, free to download. (in the video, a section where I showed where to navigate in the website to download the posters, and I explained why there were three download options (black/white, partial colour, and full colour). The Posters are unique in that it has codes ready for each acheivement standards, communicating and understanding (I showed an example of the codes in video). Coming up, I will make a new Auslan in ACARA Checklist Booklet, which will use the same codes in the posters to help Auslan teacher's organising so much easier, the teachers will be able to check which parts were covered, and which are not covered yet, for each year levels. This will be quite a timesaver for Auslan teachers! Please stay tuned here in Facebook for new additions. https://youtu.be/sByb22Jw2A0

Auslan Resources will sponsor a free giveaway, valued at $330! It's for a family who has a deaf child, starting from baby age to 5 years old or upwards, the family will be hearing and have a need to learn Auslan to improve their signing communication with their deaf child. They can be entered in this giveaway, valued at $330. It is a one year full online access to Auslan videos with full Auslan communication, showing how to communicate, e.g. "hello Mum, Dad, hungry? No! Yes.." including countless different communication phrases and topics. The family will be able to have one full year access. This means that they can access the videos any time they would like to, at home. If during the day, they are busy at work, etc, but when they are done for the day, and arrive home, they can enter in at any time they'd like, and practice signing at home, at their own pace. The family could be living in remote places, far away country places, where they may find it difficult to go to classes to learn Auslan due to distance. (Or they could be living in the city, but would benefit from online access). The family will have a need to improve their Auslan signing and communication skills for their child. They will be able to have this access valued at $330 for one full year. So, it means I need YOUR help... if you know of a family that needs help (or YOU can be that family), you can leave a comment under this Facebook post (if you don't know where this Facebook post is, type @auslanresources in Facebook search box and leave a comment right under this video post). Next Tuesday (26th March), I will collect all these comments (entries) and draw a family, and that family will be given a one year access to learning Auslan to improve their Auslan communication for their child. So I'm excited to announce this! You can now leave a comment below on which families you think could benefit from this. 06.01.2022 $330 GIVEAWAY WINNER ANNOUNCED! (1 year access to Online Auslan Baby Signs Videos) Transcript below: Hello! Today is exciting! I will announce who is the family that has won the $330 Giveaway, a 1 year learning online Auslan Baby Signs Videos. That family will be announced now.... First, I will explain how the drawing works, and how many families have entered. So, the announcement was in my Facebook page, which is in a video post. There were entries in the comments section. Altogether, there were 33 families that were entered. One of the entry was under my post, but in a shared post, which is included in the entry. I noticed a bit of a problem, though, there were 14 FaceBook shares of my Giveaway post, and out of that 14, I can only see 8 shares. The other 6 shares, I cannot see, because they were private, so that means I don't know who shared it, and whether anyone did enter under the private post, I wasn't able to see them. So... it means I can only see the comments in my post, and others who shared my post publically. So, the 33 entries are from what I am able to see. (My apologies for those who did comment under private shared posts). Ok, so... how does this work? I used a random name picker online. I put all the names in there and it automatically picked a random name, which is the winner (new technology, ha). I'll show it to you now, I recorded it on my screen. .... (2:19 shows the random name picker generator).... Congratulations to Toni-Louise Berkelmans!! You have won!! Congratulations! Thank you to Lauren Dolton for nominating you and you have won. Congratulations. Toni-Louise, can you please contact me through Auslan Resources Facebook message. I will give you the password so you can enter in the Online Auslan Baby Signs Videos for one full year. I hope you'll have fun learning the signs. Congratulations!! And also, I would like to say thank you to every one who shared and let others know about this Giveaway. Thank you so much!! I appreciate your help!! So, I'm excited that someone has access to the Baby Signs videos! It's wonderful!! Thank you!! :) See more
05.01.2022 Hi, here's a new Announcement Video! Wooden Auslan Jigsaw Puzzles!! Transcript summary is below :) :) 1. My husband and I recently completed making wooden Auslan Fingerspelling Practice Jigsaw Puzzles (shows puzzles) 2. We have 22 of them 10 Classic (all wood), 5 White, 3 Sunset, 2 Glitter Pink and 2 Glitter Blue (shows various colours of wooden Puzzles)... 3. Where to buy? In www.auslanresources.com.au on the top left bar, click on PUZZLES 4. Its available now, and if its all purchased out, we have a PRE ORDER purchase button, where you can buy it ahead of time, we will leave this button open for one week, and close it. This is so we can purchase all the wood and create it. The pre order will have only two options Classic (wood only) or White. If you pre order, please give us up to 3 weeks for us to make it and deliver it to you. 5. Each Puzzle (made by plywood) is made by hand from scratch, everything, all pieces, are sanded smooth, and coated with non-toxic seal. Only the bottom board is not sealed. The Puzzles are safe for kids to play with, I would recommend age 5 upwards, as the alphabetical shapes are complex and they will be old enough to figure out the alphabet pictures in the shapes and the alphabet letters. 6. The Puzzles will make a great gift for families, or for use in school, in primary school, pre school (kindergarten), and perhaps child care, if some are able to learn the alphabet at a younger age. 7. We have the purchase link open now and if its sold out, there is the pre order link for one week. After one week, well be able to figure out if its popular and have the pre order link open every month so we can keep supplying it. The pre order link and 3-week turnover helps us to make it and deliver it to you. Each puzzle takes many hours to make, with a lot of attention to detail, cutting, sanding, sealing, and sanding, sealing, etc. 8. I hope youll enjoy the Puzzle if you buy them bring it to your work too, let your co-workers enjoy the Puzzle and learn the Auslan Alphabet at the same time! :) #auslanresources #auslan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aY9lnBTnm1c&t=7s
