15.01.2022 Which Australian female official has attended the most World Lacrosse Championship events? That would be Kristine Palmer. 'Krissy' attained her international ac...creditation in 1995 at the inaugural U19 World Championship at Haverford, Pennsylvania. She made her senior World Cup debut in Edogawa, Japan in 1997 before umpiring again in High Wycombe in 2001, Annapolis in 2005 and Prague in 2009. Palmer transitioned into her current off-field role initially in 1999 at the U19 Women's World Championship in Perth, before stepping up again in 2013, 2015 and at the 2019 World Lacrosse U19 World Championship, where she served as a respected mentor and technical delegate to on-field officials. It was at this event that Palmer was awarded the World Lacrosse Umpire Emeritus, the highest honours given to an individual whose life work in lacrosse has benefitted hundreds of participants over the ages Leave your message of appreciation for Krissy in the comments. #AUSLAX

07.01.2022 South Australia mourns a great sportsman and wonderful supporter of lacrosse. Eric 'Fritzy' Freeman was an outstanding Executive Officer for Lacrosse SA and a great friend and supporter of the game and its Officials. To Dianne, Michelle and the extended family, goes our heartfelt sympathy for the loss of a wonderful family man... RIP Eric, you will not be forgotten! (The Advertiser photo)
