20.01.2022 With the break in the season and some good drying weather recently we now have limited supplies of hay for sale. All grades from garden mulch through to horse hay, contact me for pricing and quantities.
20.01.2022 I'm just doing a bit of cleaning up around the shed and have the following available for quick sale: - approx 300 x small bales first cut lucerne hay, it looks a bit rough on the outside but nice on the inside. $8+/bale - approx 150 x small bales grass hay. $8+/bale Jeremy
20.01.2022 A nice drop of rain last night. We've been irrigating heavily during this hot spell so nice to get some natural relief!
12.01.2022 Well the new season is nearly upon us and we are looking forward to getting some fresh hay in the shed. Not surprisingly the spring is looking great and yields should see a significant lift on the last couple of seasons, which hopefully should flow through to consumers in the form of price relief. That said, there is still currently a massive undersupply of lucerne hay in the eastern states and once production starts it will take some time for the backlog to fill. Not knowi...ng how the summer will shape up, it would be a good idea to start putting a few bales in the shed ahead of next winter, as there is no doubt going to be a rush in the Autumn months when the stocks start to dry up again. We don't have any small bales available, however I need to clear some space for the new season large bales, and we have a small amount of 8x3x3 bales I need to clear by the end of September. They are second grade lucerne and lucerne/grass blend. Pricing varies from $120 to $150 +GST per bale. Great for weaning or just to put in the paddock as roughage, or even for the garden. PM me if you need more info. Regards Jeremy
08.01.2022 New season lucerne hay now available, $16.50/bale incl. GST
06.01.2022 With this enduring dry and windy spell, yields are dropping off and demand is picking up. I'm advising people to fill their sheds with their winter needs now to avoid the debacle of last year with hay having to come up from Vic/SA at stupid prices. Like last year I think the stocks across the state will expire during the autumn. I may not have what you need now but you can ask and I can take an order. I do have plenty of A grade small bales @ $15+/bale.
06.01.2022 I've got 26 x round bales I need to find a home for. We don't really have a market for rounds, we had to get a contractor in to finish off a block when the big baler went out of action for a few days. Happy to negotiate, or tag someone you know who might be interested. ***UNDER OFFER****
04.01.2022 HAY SOLD OUT. For now at least, depends how the last month of the haymaking season shapes up as to whether we will have more available or not.
