19.01.2022 Mohair prices continue to rise .at the last port elizabeth in south africa dated 8th may 2018 prices jumped by a furthet 3.9 % to average approx $ 30 dollars australian. Top price was nearly $ 52 for a line of kid . Overall kid averaged $ 42.88 .young goat $ 34 fine adult $ 31 .and strong adult closer to $ 30. For all the australian producers selling direct into south africa in june the sale is looking good baring any dramatic changes to the south african economy .
