Positions to be filled: nominations now being encouraged President Vice President Secretary Treasurer Board Member x 2 The APIHA urgently needs quality volunteers to help develop and grow our sport. CAN YOU HELP? If you want to help, please volunteer for one of the roles above. 22.01.2022 Para Ice Hockey Queensland are back on the ice Wednesday February 13th at Boondall IceWorld. Pre-registrations are requested to ensure enough equipment can be provided via [email protected]. All athletes of all abilities are invited to come and give para ice hockey a try.

For those new to Para-Hockey, you must join as a member of the APIHA after you have completed more than four (4) on-ice sessions, irrespective of whether you are already an IHA member... 03.01.2022 This week Australian Para Ice Hockey Team General Manager Emma Poynton is at the Swedish Winter Sports Research Centre at the Mid Sweden University in Ostersund. Emma is attending an International Paralympic Development Camp for skiing and ice hockey. Thanks to the Swedish Paralympic Committee for co-ordination a program that covers coaching and training principles, biomechanics, physiology including VO2 testing, and lots of rink practical hours shadowing the elite team coaches from Japan, Czech Republic and Sweden. #WorldParaIceHockey #Agitos
