23.01.2022 This cladding material was machined and supplied for one of our own here at Auspol Timber Importers. Nathan opted for a face-fixed shiplap profile in Larch to enclose his carport. This was a cheaper an aesthetically pleasing alternative to bricking in the carport. We think the colour contrast is perfect with the garage door supplied and installed by Quokka Garage Doors who did an excellent job!

21.01.2022 We have taken a step outside of our normal works for these two pieces. We are proudly donating one of these coffee tables to UGL who are hosting a quiz night in order to raise money for the bush fire relief fund. The table will be part of a raffle prize on the night which we hope raises lots of money :) Table details: 400mm high, 1200mm long, 600mm wide and 34mm thick. The timber is all French Oak, all machining and manufacturing was completed in house here at Auspol Timber Importers

The finished thickness is a solid 64mm and the widths are 275mm achieved with no laminations! The landing is a whopping 2700mm long and 1375mm wide at its widest point. We were able to match the timber and profile which allowed for a fast turn-around time. Thanks to our large stock selection and machining capabilities we can cater for many custom profiles and sizes without the long wait that comes with importing job specific finished products.

03.01.2022 Check out these beautiful European Beech slabs! Beech is often mistaken in the West Australian market as being a soft timber when it is in fact very hard (harder than Oak in comparison). We stock slabs like this up to 5.5m long which are great for furniture use :)

03.01.2022 Those that have visited us over the last couple months would have remembered the progress of this Walnut job going on in the background. 1 - Rip feed stock to required widths 2 - Run a feather groove on 1 face... 3 - Laminate in multiples of 2 (all 1.5km) 4 - Perform some sneaky machine modifications 5 - Run the round dowel profile 6 - Clean, dock and pack 7 - Ship away over east It was great to do something a little bit different.
