23.01.2022 Certainly was a hot one working out on the road today. Great to read this story from today in Perth

21.01.2022 Time and time again we receive calls from customers with a sense of panic and urgency. Why? They have just discovered their traffic management accreditation is due (often the next day) or has already expired. *Insert face palm* This creates pressure, overwhelm and on occasions we have seen projects brought to a halt due no qualified personnel available to fulfil the duties as needed. ... Don't let this happen to you. Instead take 2 minutes and check your accreditation details online now. 1. Visit the online Main Roads WA Graduate Database (see the link in the first comment below) 2. Enter yours (or your employee/s) name and click search. 3. View your records. 1, 2, 3 easy peasy! If you discover your accreditation has or is soon due to expire and you need help organising your re-accreditation training, get in touch with our team and let us know how we can help

19.01.2022 We love hearing from our students and their experiences training with us. Check out our latest review from Chris

19.01.2022 We are really saddened to hear the news of a Traffic Controller being hit in Perth earlier today A male Traffic Controller was working along Reid Highway when he was struck by a car and suffered serious injuries. Right now our thoughts are with the Traffic Controller, his family and also work colleagues. ... Our message *yet again* is simple. Slow down Pay attention Drive to conditions Follow the signs Be patient Everyone deserves to go home from work SAFE to their families. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help keep our road workers safe by driving slow and BE ROADWORK AWARE See the Cones. Obey the Zones.

09.01.2022 Did you know? The number 1 skill in demand in today’s evolving workplace is ADAPTABILITY (according to research done by SEEK). The world is changing, technology is evolving, industries are shifting and organisations need people who can adapt. This moment requires us to learn new skills, develop new habits and let go of old ways of thinking.... Here are some handy tips... - If your usual response to change is resistance, acknowledge this and then make a commitment to maintaining an open mind towards change - Practice curiosity and be willing to question your own long held assumptions - Experiment with embracing new ideas and concepts - Acknowledge what is within your control and what isn’t, and then focus on what you can control - Seek out people who can provide you with support during transitions - Learn new skills and new ways of doing things Do you have any other tips? If so drop a comment below

01.01.2022 A Northern Territory government department has agreed to put $1.3 million towards improved safety measures around roadworks to finalise legal action over a road death in 2016. The Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics and a Queensland construction company were both charged over the death of Peter Bonnell, who crashed his motorbike into road barriers set up as part of the Tiger Brennan Drive road project. The Department had contracted BMD Constructions Ltd to ma...nage the road works, with both charged with failing to comply with health and safety laws. In a statement on Friday, NT WorkSafe said it had accepted the $1.3 million enforceable undertaking from the department, with the money to provide for a range of measures including extra staff to better scrutinise the traffic management plans of sub-contractors.
