25.01.2022 Tip for storing oilbased paints. It is annoying when you need oil based paints for touch up and you find the paint has skinned and hardened. To prevent this from happening pour a small of mineral turps into the paint ( enough to cover the surface of the paint in the tin). You will notice the solvent pops up and floats on the surface and this acts as a barrier. If the turps ponds in the middle ot the can pour a little more in so the total area is covered.When you come to use the paint again after a year or so, just mix the solvent in and the paint is good as new.

03.01.2022 When sealing new walls or blocking out dark colours, Aus-Rho Paints sealers can be tinted to the finish coat colour. The advantages of this is that you can make sure the colour is right for the room you are painting, and if not, the top coat can be marginnally altered to obtain the right tone. Secondly, by coluring the sealer, you nly need one coat of finish. This obviously saves you both time and maoney.
