21.01.2022 Since ASC built the fleet of six Collins Class submarines over 30 years ago, we have established strong, enduring and collaborative partnerships with over 1,700... suppliers, over 90 per cent of which are locally sourced through Australian industry. ASCs Supply Chain focuses on security of supply, value for money and sovereign supply chain development to support the Submarine Enterprise. At the recent Supply Chain Forum, Executive Manager Supply Chain, Ben Pudney, launched ASCs Supply Chain video, which recognises the mutually beneficial nature of ASCs Supply Chain partnerships. We are proud of the contributions we have made to building local communities through employment opportunities and industry development, said Mr Pudney. Together with our partners, ASC is delivering beyond benchmark supply chain capability.

20.01.2022 DEMAND BETTER RATES, DEMAND A NEW AGREEMENT Australian shipbuilder company Austal in WA have been awarded a $350 million dollar defence contract, BUT, their wor...kers are getting ripped off getting paid rates far lower than at other shipbuilders. Austal refuses to negotiate with the union because they know we can get a better deal for their workers - look at the difference in pay for union negotiated EBAs. Well redouble our commitment and efforts to educate exploited Austal workers and assist them to organise for high skills, good wages, secure employment, and the safe environment all workers are entitled to. Protect your rights and join your union now.
