25.01.2022 Aussiam is proud to announce that we have been appointed the exclusive Australian dealer for Strike-Light LLC products, commencing with the Throw-Light Tactical, the world's first remotely operated deployable lighting source, with disorienting strobe and over 100db sonic alert capabilities. The device's housing is made from tough military grade polycarbonate housing and contains six (6) powerful Cree XTE LED's that always remain upright to provide 360 degree illumination or a...t the press of a button turn it into a disorienting strobe and 130 db sonic alert. The Throw-Light Tactical is controlled by wireless remote and lasts 1 to 1.5 hours per single charge (varies by mode), powered by a durable, re-chargeable LiPo battery pack with quick recharge via USB port (45 minutes to fully recharge). 25.01.2022 Our style AT00667 trouser is a new addition to our tactical field uniform trouser range. With this style, we have removed a number of pockets which creates a discernible reduction in garment weight and changed the front side waist pockets to a standard angled opening (rather than horizontal access pockets). The trouser shown is made from mid-weight Nomex IIIA rip-stop fabric.

18.01.2022 Flame resistant work wear for protection against flash fire and electrical arc flash. Traditional work wear made of 100% cotton or synthetic fabrics such as polyester may catch alight after being exposed to a flash fire, often leading to significant burn injury to the wearer. and even continuing to contribute to total burn injury after the flame has been extinguished (for example, synthetic fibres melting and sticking). A significant factor to surviving burn injury is limiti...ng the extent and severity of such an injury, which is where flame resistant work wear plays a key role. Ideally suited for sectors such as petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, electrical trades, heavy industrial manufacture (welding/grinding), paint usage/manufacture or areas with combustible dusts present. Garments made from flame resistant or flame retardant fabrics will either not support combustion or will limit the spread of combustion when removed from the flame source. This means that once the worker removes themselves from contact with the flash fire, the work wear they are wearing ceases to contribute to ongoing burn injury (as would be the case with traditional work wear which has ignited and continues to burn).

03.01.2022 Forced Entry Hood - a single layered covering hood manufactured from a blended Kevlar/Nomex fabric (colour: black), providing an additional layer of protection to the head/neck area when a forced entry is effected, in particular through glass doorways or windows. The long draping bib fully covers the collar area of protective clothing (shirt/coverall) worn underneath, providing a barrier against the ingress of hazardous materials such as shards of broken glass. The hood is fastened via Velcro that allows tightening adjustment at the neck as required.The hood is fully sewn in 100% Nomex thread with one size fitting all.
