24.01.2022 Damien and Matt were safely back in the hotel in Dhaka on Friday evening after their trip from Pabna. By all accounts their first Nursing Education Program visit has been a resounding success and we anticipate at least two more in the future. They will be back in Sydney on Sunday evening.

09.01.2022 We are sending our greatest sympathies to the family and friends of our dear friend and colleague Brigadier Shahib Ullah who sadly lost his battle with Covid ye...sterday in Bangladesh. Shahid welcomed the Aussi Bangla Smile team who worked in Bangladesh in 2018. He assisted with travel and security arrangements and he visited Australia with a medical team for education in May 2018. Shahid was just 55. A valuable member of his community gone too soon. See more

06.01.2022 Three years ago, on August 25, 2017, Myanmar security forces launched a campaign of violence targeting members of the Rohingya ethnic minority group. These clearance operations ultimately drove some 700,000 people from Rakhine state over the border into Bangladesh. These refugees joined some 200,000 others who had fled previous waves of violence. https://youtu.be/8nnn_z_gaXY
