25.01.2022 Another beautiful day at the Aussie Muster

25.01.2022 LOCAL FIRE BAN A local fire ban has been imposed for Ipswich, Somerset, Lockyer, Logan and Scenic Rim Local Government areas. As of 12.01am on Thursday, 8 ...August all Permits to Light Fires will be cancelled in these areas. This is due to prolonged drought, significant depletion of soil moisture and predicted weather systems over the coming days. This means: Any currently issued permits are cancelled. New permits will need to be obtained from the Local Fire Warden once the ban is lifted. All open fires are prohibited, except fires within a properly constructed barbeque provided they are not left unattended. Hot works (including grinding and welding) in outdoor areas are permitted provided adequate equipment is available to extinguish any fire that may start.
