25.01.2022 COVID-19 (Coronvirus) Update & Changes to our Business Aussie Outdoor Living is still open and operating as normal however, our lifestyle showroom is open by appointment only. We are continuing to work full steam ahead on the many building projects that are currently in the pipeline for our wonderful clients. Our suppliers and approval services are still operating as normal. There are no disruptions or issues with taking on new projects at this time. Although the COVID-19 (Co...ronavius) situation is constantly changing, our main priority remains unchanged the health and safety of our staff and clients. We are closely monitoring advice from the Federal Government and the Department of Health and check daily for updates to safety advice. To give you an overview of what were doing to protect everyone in our community, here are some of the measures we have in place right now: - Were taking special precautions to practice social distancing (at least 1.5 metres) wherever possible - Weve increased hygiene measures through design consultations and communication with staff - Were co-ordinating and supporting operational teams to work from home wherever possible. The majority of our office-based staff are now working from home - Were limiting staff numbers on-site wherever possible. Non-essential visits have been cancelled/postponed - Were organising contactless delivery of supplies wherever possible. Delivery drivers are to remain in vehicles and use contactless methods such as mobile phones to communicate - Weve staggered meal and break times to limit staff interactions - Weve directed all workers to stay at home if they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms - Cleaning schedules have been increased on construction sites and in our lifestyle showroom and office. Frequently touched surfaces are cleaned and disinfected regularly using appropriate detergent or disinfectant solutions - Our security protocols have not changed and are still in place. Your information remains safe and secure at all times Keeping everyone safe is our number one priority. We will continue this in every way we can throughout the duration of this situation. 22.01.2022 POOLSIDE LIVING & ENTERTAINING We completely transformed our clients old and tired outdoor living area into a no maintenance, spacious and modern oasis. Ripping out all the hardwood decking that was under the alfresco and right around the entire the pool, we used aluminium framing which is best used around pool and spa areas due to the chemicals and water, and finished it off with Aluminium Decking boards with in-built deck lighting. Extending their existing alfresco area we ...used insulated roof panels with aluminium framing and posts which added ample weather protection and space. Fitted with LED down lights, motorised blind and Inline Glass supplied and installed the beautiful frame-less glass pool fencing around the entire area. 21.01.2022 The perfect design for homes with this outdoor layout is a gable polycarbonate pergola, mounted on all 3 sides as the area is an L shape. Adds ample height, light and increased airflow to the area. Beautiful aluminium privacy screening with a 'wood-like' finish top rail, really finishes off the area! 19.01.2022 Our lovely clients from Mount Colah first came to our showroom to view our decking range. Having showed them the aluminium product and explained the benefits over hardwood and other alternatives, they were sold on the 'Low Maintenance' aspect of the product. Chris arranged an on-site consultation with Gary & Sandra and discussed the few areas of decking and stairs that needed replacing to ensure it was 100% safe as they have young grandchildren, and that the areas tied in nic...ely throughout the property. Featuring our low maintenance aluminium decking, stairs, handrail and privacy screening and an aluminium framed polycarbonate pergola. These are the areas that we covered: The main aluminium deck area to the rear of the house was a whopping 10 m long x 4 m wide with Colorbond handrail and a matching aluminium top rail, and built with treated pine framing underneath. The upper level aluminium deck with stairs and wall railing features a sloping polycarbonate pergola, aluminium slatted screening to box in that end of the deck with matching aluminium privacy screening to both ends of the two decks. Another area required was a decked walkway between the garage and main house, with a lockable aluminium slatted gate, a stair case leading up to the front of the property and a low profile deck to another entry point at the front of the house. Another decked landing area, stair case and slatted privacy screening leading to the 'main entrance'. Chris designed every aspect and ensured every box was ticked, and need was covered. Our team demolished the old decks and stairs and meticulously built the new structures. 05.01.2022 Our clients in Kellyville were after the ultimate indoor/outdoor living and entertaining area. Their current area had no cover and there was a step down to the concrete area. Chris designed a beautiful outdoor area including a large insulated roof with LED down lights and fans, mounted on the roof which added extra height and air flow to the area. Fitted with an aluminium deck which allowed a seamless transition from inside to outside with no more stepping! Our clients wante...d to go all out on an outdoor kitchen/BBQ so we installed a double sided aluminium clad wall which enabled us to mount their range hood and connect gas and water ulitilies for their new outdoor kitchen. As they get the afternoon sun, our sister company Aussie Outdoor Blinds & Screens installed electric blinds which blocks out the heat and most of the sun whilst protecting their new outdoor furniture and kitchen. 04.01.2022 "Can't recommend them highly enough. Excellent planning - we took about 18 months to decide and no hassling in the meantime. The crew were lovely, totally self contained (they even brought their own microwave) the job was completed in the time they said it would be and everyone who has seen it so far comments on the quality finish. They aren't cheap. but we've seen other cheap jobs that look rough after a couple of years. You get what you pay for and this will look good for ...years to come. 01.01.2022 Our wonderful clients in Winston Hills had always wanted a more useable outdoor living and entertaining that was attached to their home, easy accessibility to the backyard and a better sense of connection from inside to out. There was a lot of unused space that could have been utilised more effectively to tie all these elements together. Designing came easy, completely removing everything in the backyard, from grass and soil, concrete and an existing structure, ...taking it right back to a completely blank canvas to allow a more structured design and low maintenance backyard. The pergola was designed as an insulated gable, to keep in line and style with the gable part of the house it was being attached to. This offered great height which equals = more air flow and light! The deck was then designed and built to be level to their back door and by going over the existing stair case to the right hand side. As their block sat higher than the neighbours, a full height double sided clad wall was installed for added privacy and protection. Constructed with a beautiful and wide set of boxed in aluminium stairs and frame less glass handrail. An absolutely amazing transformation! It provided our clients with a connected, seamless and more useable living and entertaining area.
