21.01.2022 Bok Choi for days! (and pak choi and silverbeet). Thanks E!

21.01.2022 We had an epic weekend building our shade house and finishing off the wicking beds. We planted broad beans, snake beans, peas, 3 types of kale, collard greens, beetroot, chilli, lettuce, pergonium, marigolds, leeks, cucumber, mizuna, Osaka and celery. Oh and a dragon fruit cutting too! Happy days!

20.01.2022 Oh yeah 5 out 5 snake beans sprouted today. These are so sweet and so snakey!

20.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago we moved to #freo. So good to be a part of this community.

20.01.2022 I thought my breakfast looked a little photogenic this morning.

09.01.2022 A quick fly through of the greens in my garden.

08.01.2022 Getting ready for the new moon next week. This is my favourite new moon for planting, just at the start of autumn. These are wicking beds that we've shared before. The water sits under the soil and evaporates up to keep the plants watered. We're documenting the whole process to share with you. Maximum yield for small urban gardens. Who's keen?

07.01.2022 Two weeks after getting the wicking beds in and things are growing well.

06.01.2022 Cats are such beautiful creatures.

06.01.2022 These shady rainbow lorikeets care nothing for my legal rights to this fig tree. #anarcists

04.01.2022 Quick and lazy dinner. Sweet chilli tofu wrap with pepperjack and cheezus cheese, Osaka and watercress, onion, tomatoe, hooch and pepitas. #organic and #vegan.

04.01.2022 The other day a friend asked me what I had in my breakfast smoothie and I couldn't really remember it all. She suggested I might want to document it all so here goes. Herbs from the garden: Gotu Kola, Yarrow, Brahmi, Parsely, Moringa, Portulaca, Choc Mint, Watercress, Cosmos and Lemon Thyme. Fruit: Banana, Josephine Pear, Nashi Pear, Granny Smith, Plum, Medjool Dates, Grapes, Strawberries and Cucumber.... Seeds etc: Brazil Nuts, Hemp Seed, Pumpkin Seeds, Chia Seed, Pea Protein. Greens: Kale, Osaka, Chard, Celery, Broccoli and a wee bit of Chilli. I use alkalised water and get about litres of green goop or two serves. The produce is seasonal but that's a typical day.
