07.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Dave Marsicano. 'Big Dave' as he was known to so many passed away last night after a sudden unexp...ected medical condition. This comes as a complete surprise to everyone, as he was ripping around the Victorian High Country on a snowmobile on the day before his passing. People will remember Dave from his Mt Buller Motorcycle Tour business as well as competing in the VORC and a few A4DE's. He was instrumental in organising the A4DE in Mansfield in 2016 and this event simply would not have gotten off the ground without the great man's involvement. The same can be said for his tireless work at the National Enduro-X series and the Sawmill Settlement Rally. He also sat on the committee of the Vic Off Road and Victoria Police Motor Sports Club. Big Dave was the physical size of 10 men and worked like 10 men in any task he set out to do. He was one of those guys that you couldn't say a bad thing about. He will always be remembered as a great bloke. Dave leaves behind his long time partner Niki who our thoughts are with in this tragic time. Dave leaves a huge gap in the Australian Off Road community and he will not be forgotten anytime soon. Rest In Peace Dave

03.01.2022 Working bees for the A4DE are happening this weekend with the aim to try and complete track clearing so the club can concentrate on the clearing and set up of t...he special tests. This Saturday and Sunday the working bees are meeting outside the Erica pub leaving at 9am. Tasks for the day are clearing some of day 1 and 2 trails and clearing trail into some special tests Light easy work clearing face wackers, so bring tools that are good for this. Club also has some tools for those who don’t have anything suitable. Heavy duty brush cutters are also pretty handy if you have one and easier work that swinging a machete or bush hook. Saturday and Sunday will be clearing work in the morning and ride the 4day trails in the arvo. Anyone who can make either day also contact Bryan Noble at [email protected] Put this weekend in your diary and come to Erica and have some fun clearing and riding trails with the DMCC crew. For those who have a Wednesday free, the 18th March there is a working bee to repair some track damaged by weekend warriors in low lying areas. This is purely a working day and no riding is happening, meet Erica pub at 8am with planned mid arvo finish. Bring shovels, maddocks, etc. If you can make Wednesday 18th ring David Wilkinson on 0411 747 863 to let him know you are going to attend, so the day and work can be planned.
