25.01.2022 A simple joke fior the people who like it simple.

25.01.2022 Borders opening December 1.

24.01.2022 Some travel tip reminders.

24.01.2022 Latest update from the Queensland Premier on travel updates and the corona virus in Queensland.

22.01.2022 Aussie Bargain Car Rentals are so looking forward to welcoming back our many friends and customers from the Greater Sydney region. We suggest you get in early to book your car; Covid has resulted in what will almost certainly be a shortage of rental vehicles on the Sunshine Coast. Less supplier companies with smaller fleets. Welcome back.

21.01.2022 Part Two; where John enlightens us on his five (or six) rules for staying alive on the road (profanity free). So there's that! Again, a little long winded in places, but I personally cannot fault his Top 5 safe driving tips. Interesting was his insistence on the 9 and 3 o'clock position for hands on the steering wheel. We were always taught 10 and 2. So I did a little research and low and behold the recommendation is indeed 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. Apparently one reason is to help keep your hands out of the way in the event the airbag deploys in the event of an accident. Interesting! So you really can teach an old dog new tricks. Anyhoo, learn and enjoy.

20.01.2022 How will cars be built in the future. Computational engineering and 3D printing? An article for the more technically minded amongst us.

20.01.2022 Yes, we have survived the ravages of Covid-19 and are lookin forward to seeing all our previous customers back again along with all those seeking a quality car rental experience on the Sunshine Coast. Get in quick. There are limited vehicles available during the actual Christmas period and a limited supply before and in the period after Christmas.

20.01.2022 Greetings to all our valued customers. As I'm sure you are all well aware, we like so many other small businesses have been greatly affected by the restrictions on travel owing to spread of the Covid-19 novel coronavirus. With all discretionary travel pretty much dried up now, non-essential and holiday travel coming to a halt, we, like our fellow car rental companies are now focusing on exploring methodologies and tactics to try and remain viable so we can maximise the chance... of still being around to serve our customers in the future when the pandemic has passed. We are still servicing the long term customers who live here and the few customers who have chosen to ride out the virus here on the Sunshine Coast, rather than return to their home countries. Aussie Bargain is still here and available to supply car hire to those locals who need a vehicle for legitimate local use. We also welcome inquiries from those people who are allowed to come into the Sunshine Coast by Air and will need transport for authorised business use or to help support family members. We would love to assist you where possible. Please all take care out there. Wash your hands (20 seconds minimum) and maintain social distancing. Regards from the remaining team at Aussie Bargain Car Rentals

20.01.2022 They have it all sorted.

19.01.2022 Now here is something to celebrate.

18.01.2022 Are you washing your hands as regularly as you were at the start of the pandemic? If the answer is no, let this be an important reminder to keep up good, regular hand hygiene. Use soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitiser to stop the spread of germs

17.01.2022 We welcome the new flights over the summer period, between Newcastle and the Sunshine Coast, with NSW based airline FlyPelican. Starting Monday 4th January 2021 these additional new flights into and out of the Sunshine Coast will certainly help the local tourism industry which was hit hard by the cessation of flights during the worst of Covide-19. Aussie Bargain Car Rentals are pleased to welcome tourists from New Castle and the surrounding areas of NSW and are keen to share our transport options and personal service with you. Go to our website at https://www.aussiebargain.com.au for further information or to book your car for your Sunshine Coast holiday or business trip. Welcome.

14.01.2022 Explore and learn about the fantastic Glasshouse Mountains area, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, in a car from Aussie Bargain Car Rentals based right beside the Sunshine Coast Airport.

12.01.2022 As Queensland is now slowly opening up to visitors from other states ,here is a timely reminder from Dr Nick Coatsworth.

09.01.2022 The way back is starting.

09.01.2022 Happy Mother’s Day everyone. Stay safe.

07.01.2022 Great news for all our Kiwi friends who have been waiting so long for the chance to visit friends and family here in Queensland since the borders closed. Welcome back.

04.01.2022 In relation to COVID-19 outbreak in South Australia this morning. Some State and Territory governments are imposing tightened travel restrictions. This may affect our customers who have arrived from SA in the past few days, those arriving today and in coming days. We will update information as it becomes available.

02.01.2022 Looking for a last minute Christmas gift or something different to do whilst holidaying here on the Sunshine Coast? Check this idea out.

02.01.2022 It’s that time of the year again folks

02.01.2022 Don’t even think about it.

01.01.2022 Fingers crossed there’s no more outbreaks.

01.01.2022 With the introduction today of a hard border between QLD and NSW, we have reintroduced a restricted Area of Use for our rental vehicles. No approval will be given for travel into New South Wales until at least the 8th of January 2021and possibly even longer if Border restrictions and/or Covid-19 Hotspots remain in NSW. However, that doesn't stop you from exploring the many delights of South East Queensland. We have lived here for some 26 years and haven't seen it all yet, so I'm sure there are plenty of great spots that most tourists have not yet seen. For an update on the fun and games the QPs are having with various individuals at the border, check out the video below.
