For all who have followed our journey closely know that we love to get outside and walk, run and hike. We are blessed to be healthy, fit and able but not all are as fortunate as us. Some suffer from illnesses and afflictions that prevent them from being able to enjoy what we take for granted every day. With that being said we have been in search of a way to be able to do our part to give back and help others. The cause we have chosen to support is The Bloody Long Walk to help fund raise for those suffering from mitochondrial disease (mito), this will help funds essential research into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cures of mitochondrial disorders, and increases awareness and education about this devastating disease.
