24.01.2022 Bring your spring cleaning to us where your donations go right to where they are needed.

21.01.2022 Happy Friday! While we are getting closer every day to completing our women's shelter, we continue, as we always have, to do as much as we can to support other people in need. This year has been more difficult than most for families in Ghana due to lockdown restrictions. There is no such thing as Government support and most people rely on daily money to feed their families, which they need to go out and work to earn. We want to do something special for families in the Town C...ouncil Line Community as that is where our family lives as well as most of the people who help us with the shelter. We are planning a community feast, if you look through our older photos, we did something similar in a community in Tema where we helped feed 1200 children. It was a very humbling event and the emotions we felt that day, stay with us 10 years later. We would love to feed as many people as we can, so we are planning on asking our sisters and aunties to cook up a huge feast and distribute food packs to families in the community. We have worked out that $10 will feed a family of four, so it's not expensive but every donation will go a long way. If you want to give the Gift of Hope this Christmas please join us in sharing food with people who need it. As always, every dollar raised goes directly to people in need as we pay all of our own administration costs. We are planning to start with $400 of our own money but thought we'd throw it out there to see if our community would like to join us in sharing love and food this Christmas and see how much we can raise and how many we can feed! 18.01.2022 This is such a wonderful sight for us to share. Remember the incredible fundraiser that Lenard Sciancalepore and the dedicated team at University of Adelaide Rotaract put on for us in September? We have put the money to great use in various areas, but the most visible for you all to see at this moment is the outside of our beautiful shelter - painted! ... Words are inadequate once again to express our appreciation to you and your team Lenard. To have been chosen as your charity of choice for 2019 was such an honour and to receive such an enormous donation of just over $3200 has allowed us to proceed in leaps and bounds. 17.01.2022 The final stages of work are progressing nicely. It’s so wonderful to be able to view the changes happening inside our shelter. We are so close to finishing, we just need a little more help to get us over the line.

15.01.2022 Just a few weeks ago I met a beautiful soul who has just made a huge donation to Aussieghana to help us achieve our dream of completing the shelter in 2020. I’m not sure if she wants public praise so I’m not putting the amount or her full name here just in case. From the bottom of our love filled hearts - thank you!

11.01.2022 Lots of progress recently thanks to donations and our fundraising efforts and a bit of help from us too. A considerable donation from Susan allowed us to have the mains water process commence, it’s on its way! Our fundraising and contributions have taken us to the stage of finishing off the internal flushing, this video is Rafael talking about some of the work he is doing today. ... Next - the tiler is coming to assess. The tiles were generously donated by Simon last year and we shipped them over some time ago, so they are good to go. Finishing is SO close! So close it’s a fine line between excitement and frustration. We really want to finish by Christmas and just over $3,000 is all we need to make this happen. Please consider buying a ticket in our raffle, making a tax deductible donation or giving the gift of hope this Christmas with one of our vouchers. Can any of my lovely friends help with products, services, wine, cash cards, cash, or a any...thing at all good for a raffle? We will love you forever. 07.01.2022 This coming Saturday we are having a huge sale at the studio with the goal to raise as much money as we can to work towards finishing the shelter in the coming ...two months. More details to follow but we would love to see as many people as we can come in to check our super funky and affordable second hand clothing and new with tags clothing and shoes, bric a brac, homewares, and excitedly - plants!
