19.01.2022 Yesterday I was asked to look for a wedding ring. When me & my oldest son arrived to the location we met the lady who lost her deceased husbands ring. It was so sad to hear what occurred to her husband and to her. This made me really want to find the ring for her. She was only 50% on roughly where she may of lost it. My son & I spent hours with the detector and walking around looking for it. Sadly we didnt located the ring for her. We sat and talked for awhile and the things... shes had happen to her and the family just made my heart sink. I think she really needed someone to talk. shes only been here for 16 months and doesnt really know anyone.. I told her that if you can recall anywhere you may have lost the ring let me know. Ill be happy to comeback out and look. She asked how much it was for me to come out and look but theres no way I could even think of charging her for that... I really hope the ring turns up for her.. 17.01.2022 In 1857 a prospector rode into Bendigo and stopped at a pub for a drink. Unfortunately, the Bendigo locals always had a habit of picking on strangers, which he was. When he finished his drink, he found his horse had been stolen. He went back into the bar, handily flipped his gun into the air, caught it above his head without even looking and fired a shot into the ceiling. Which one of you scoundrels stole my horse?! he yelled with surprising forcefulness. No one answered.... Righto, Im gunna have another beer, and if my horse isn't back outside by the time I finish, Im gunna do what I did in Ballarat! And I dont like to have to do what I did in Ballarat! Some of the locals shifted restlessly. The prospector, true to his word, had another beer, walked outside, and found his horse had been returned to the post. He saddled up and started to ride out of town. The bartender wandered out of the bar and asked, Say digger, before you go what happened in Ballarat? The prospector turned back and said, I had to walk home.

08.01.2022 So who’s getting out today for a swing? The poor buggers in Melbourne will be looking forward to this Sunday night.. finally break free from the control lockdown.. Just recently there was a 28oz nugget found along with a couple other bits. The 3 bits come to 60 to 70oz found by a fella I know. In an area that’s very very well known & I know that a lot of prospectors have been going for years.. still the big ones are out there. If you watched my video from Monday, you would ...have heard me mention it.. Best of luck to everyone who’s getting out over the weekend

08.01.2022 I was shocked at seeing comments on other gold pages about the Weekend Prospector. Everyone is shot gun happy to jump on the wagon without knowing the facts. Andrew Bales is one of the best and WOULDNT jeopardise himself or this hobby just to find gold. A few were thinking they were right in what they were posting without knowing squat.. I tried to bite my tongue but couldnt hold back without saying something.. Anyway the Weekend Prospector has posted about where & what the...y done.. no laws were broken. Why cant people just be happy that such a knowledgeable person is helping them to find gold? Its a disgrace seeing it happen.. This was posted on the Weekend Prospectors page after all the BS.. The Weekend Prospector does not condone or undertake illegal prospecting or mining activities. In relation to Episode 2 Series 3, called Warburton, a full suite of research was conducted prior to filming. 07.01.2022 So who’s getting out over the weekend? Looks like it’s going to be a warm one on sunday.. just keep your eyes on the ground for snakes.. just remember not to try and catch them or harm them as this is when people get bitten. Just walk around them and leave them be. Sometimes snakes may come towards you but they most likely don’t know you’re there. They go by vibration and smell. So stamp your foot as hard as you can as this should stop the snake. Best of luck to everyone getting out over the weekend
