08.01.2022 Showcasing our beautiful 0-2 Joey’s room. This room recently underwent a revamp to clearly define spaces to assist in the growth and development of our youngest people. Cosy Corner - That comforting part of the room to sit and feed or comfort your child. We have positioned our family photos in that space too for children to identify with their loved ones to assist in the settling process.... Meals and Art - For those messier more creative moments in the day. Book Nook- Where children can escape some of the busiest moments or sit with an educator and develop their literacy skills. Softened with pillows and teddies. Discovery- Exploration, Construction, Social where children have the chance to develop their fine and gross motor skills. In this space the children begin to learn social concepts such as sharing and spacial awareness. Stretch and Grow - A space designed for children to focus in on those whole body milestones such as sitting, standing, walking and climbing. Our team of dedicated professionals have spent so much time developing this beautiful room and we hope your children enjoy it as much as we do!

05.01.2022 Our creative educators have designed a new space outdoors with a real spring theme. Aussie Kindies Flower Shop The children imagine what it’s like to run a shop, serving customers, arranging beautiful bouquets for each customer and delivering them with love and smiles. This shop was very busy today with lots of customers wanting to browse the new in season blooms. This multi focus activity offers many depths to the children’s learning development of their Collaborative p...lay, Creative Expression, Social Competence, Empathy, Kindness and Sharing just to name a few. Our toddlers will be extending on this fantastic experience with some planting experiences planned in the coming weeks in an effort to foster deeper understandings about caring for the environment one plant at a time

Our families know their children are receiving the best early education and care here, because of our amazing people. We want to shine a spotlight on one of our spectacular educators so please meet Catherine Brooking, our much loved Lead Educator here at Aussie Kindies Bacchus Marsh. Catherine works in our Joey's room and has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. What is your favourite book?... Possum Magic What is your favourite part of the day? When the children arrive and run in for their morning cuddles. If you could have any superhero power, what would you choose? The ability to grow more arms and legs. Why do you love what you do? Being in the Joeys room I get to build trusting relationships with the youngest people in our centre and from then I enjoy watching them develop and grow in ability and confidence as they move into the older rooms.
