15.01.2022 This is a beautiful specimen of a Kohaku. Also Toraso Tsuyoshi is a very nice man and I would think legendary status as a breeder in Japan. Ever get to Japan, be sure to visit his Koi Farm.

10.01.2022 Sorted the Sanke this morning. These are my grow ons 10 months 36-8 ish I have kept 5 out of the 12 that I thought were worthwhile. I am short of males so 2 of them I think will be male, plus 3 female.

08.01.2022 I haven't been in a hurry due to weather but decided to spawn Kohaku in my 16,000litre pond. I built this pond with heating in mind so water is sitting at 23C. The female has a huge body shape and a genuine 85cm good kiwi and sushi but poor beni. Choose 2 young males from 4 I have with serious skin and beni so we will see! They spawned overnight, big spawn so fingers crossed!

07.01.2022 Things are pretty quiet right now. Got back from Exmouth and my good sanke had a raised scale. So caught her up today and cleaned her up not too bad so think all will be well. I thought she was very close to 80cm but not quite, she measured at a genuine 77cm Interesting she is still not fully 'finished' sumi still has a bit to do.
