13.01.2022 Many people ask when or what time of day should I meditate? There is no golden rule on the subject, but most will agree that the most important aspect is to create some time for you, irrespective of the time of day or any schedule. While formal meditation practice in a peaceful place where you are unlikely to be disturbed is beneficial, there should be no reason why you can not apply aspects at other times or places in your life. You can apply aspects of mindfulness, meditati...on or Life Force cognition at any time and in any place. Indeed it can often be in these hectic or uncontrolled moments when you need the benefits of these practices the most. There are many times throughout the day when you can apply your attention to help bring aspects of calmness within you. When you are on a train or bus, you could bring your attention to your breath. As you walk down the street, or through the park, you could focus on the sounds you hear. What’s important is that you are in that moment, mindfulness should not be a chore to be performed once a week.
10.01.2022 One of the most commonly asked questions is how can meditation or similar practices help deal with strong damaging emotions, such as anger, hatred, and jealousy. The good news is, that if you are asking the question, you are already part of the way to the answer. The fact that you have asked the question indicates that you may have been sufficiently mindful and observant to notice the negative states of your mind. Which, by the way, is not an easy accomplishment. Most people ...are entirely absorbed in their emotions and have limited self-awareness. Generally, those who ask this question have noticed what is happening in their minds as they were being swept into a whirlwind of negative emotions. The best course of action is that you need to learn to become the master of your mind as well as your emotions. The moment that you feel a strong emotion building, first pause so that you can regain control and not fall into the pending onslaught of emotions, thoughts and feelings. Once you have paused the reactionary processes of your mind, the most effective choice is not to participate. In effect, you do not want that emotion or that emotional reaction to be a part of you. If you feel sufficiently in control, you may take the time to observe the emotion, but always push those emotional aspects away as you do not want them to become part of your life.

As you walk, try to be more aware of the sensations within your body, such as the movement of your feet or arms as well as your breathing. You can also be more mindful of the world around you, hearing the sounds which continually waft into your ears, the temperature of the air on your face and the smells which fill your nostrils. So why not take some time out and go take a hike into the outdoors and avail yourself of the opportunity to be more mindful, to take a break and refocus on the important things in life.
