17.01.2022 And there it is... As of midday tomorrow Australia is in Stage 1 Lockdown!! Gyms across Australia will be closed!! My business in Fitness First is now non existent from one press conference. ... Meanwhile business as usual over here with extra precautions in place; 1. Cleaning of equipment and floor as per usual but equipment left out in the sun for a little extra sanitisation 2. Disinfectant guard dog guarding the goods. At a time like this, no one can be trusted! Who knows what lengths people will go to as times get tough Stay safe, eat well and keep moving! Tomorrow I’ll post what we are doing to help keep our immune systems strong to fight off anything that comes our way

As you know, tomorrow is Anzac Day and the Hunter household are very passionate about commemorating the 25th April to pay our respects to t...he lost, the fallen, our current and our past serving members of the Australian Defence Force. Tomorrow myself and Rhod Hunter along with 40 other Navy PTI’s are taking part in a 42km Marathon row to raise money for a cause we all hold close to our hearts, Soldier On Australia (there are crazy ones doing 100km on the assault bike...good luck glad it’s you and not me ). Rhod and I will be sharing the 42km starting right after the dawn service. The goal was to raise $1000! In just 5 days we have now hit nearly 7k!!! Amazing work and thank you to everyone who has donated!! It’s still not too late to jump onboard and donate to a great cause. All donations are 100% tax deductible and every donation counts. 04.01.2022 THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM! I took this one just over a month ago, 24th February when Australia thought it was immune, when Australia’s mood was she’ll be right and we all went about our day to day lives with no idea of what was about to change. Take me back to this day where I could walk next to a friend on the coastal walk without being judged on the distance between, when you didn’t walk past someone holding your breath or looking for signs of sickness. When someone cough...ed you didn’t blink an eye and those that wore a mask were only those that were sick. Fast forward to today and the storm has hit! It’s here, it’s real and the eye is yet to come! The she’ll be right approach hasn’t worked and it still isn’t working. I feel isolated yet busy with my family but also very lonely. What does that even mean? I feel like i’m covered in disease because everyone is keeping their distance. I gave up on homeschooling on day 1 being overloaded with links and documents to read yet no idea where to start. We are all in this together and together we need to work as a team to do what is right and what is expected of us to get normality back into our lives. Listen! Support! Be smart! Stay safe!
