16.01.2022 Whilst this Anzac Day has been different to most, with unique commemorations held across the country to honour our service members both past and present; don't forget to reach out to those mates you haven't seen or spoken to in a while to check in and see how they are going during these trying times. The AMWA will be back to march together in 2021. Lest We Forget

15.01.2022 Congratulations to Denis Baker for his upcoming promotion to Warrant Officer and his new posting to Sea Training Group. Well deserved!

10.01.2022 G'day MW Association members, While 2020 has been a less than stellar year for many, lately our social media and news broadcasts have been flooded with negative news and comments relating to Defence. From the CDFs statement relating to the IGADF report to the repeated devastating loses our our servicemen and woman lost far too soon due to suicide. We have felt the impact of the negative news articles and the losses of those personnel throughout the Defence community, effect...ing both our serving and veteran members. You are never alone. No matter the hour or the day our phones are on and our doors are open. We have beers in the fridge and can make coffee in an instant. There has been a growing trend of 'R U Ok' and 'It's okay not to be okay' and we cannot stress how true it is. We would rather answer a call for help than attend a funeral. Our loses have been heartbreaking and we are approaching one if the hardest times of year to be alone. 2020 has provided more challenges than good times and has forced isolation on so many people. If anyone is doing it tough, or feeling isolated leading into the holiday season, please reach out because we'd all like to see you at the next MW Association activity in 2021!

07.01.2022 What can we say but thank you! You stood at dawn in driveways, balconies, street corners and lounge rooms to show your respect in one of the few ways we were able to during this time. We may have been apart but together we remembered.

06.01.2022 3 MHCs departing HMAS Waterhen together for the first time in a long time to conduct Route Survey.
